unfortunately i just read a few reviews and GOD y’all are annoying

i’ve always taken reviews on mdl with a grain of salt bc people will find anything to complain about but this is literally a nice show that is about friends falling in love

when it comes to bl so many people complain when a show is too toxic or have the same themes but then you’ll have the same people get on here and bash this show bc they wanted the plot to be done in a rushed 6-8 ep

as far as the actors go, everyone executed their roles perfectly and pretty much all the couples had chemistry

idk if it’s bc y’all don’t like gmmtv, pondphuwin, or shows that don’t have crazy drama but PLS go find something else to watch that fits your tastes bc y’all are getting to ep 12-14 and saying it’s bad when you probably knew in the first 3 episodes if this was going to be something you like

anyways sorry for the rant but imo this is a nice palette cleanser show to watch in between series that literally doesn’t have much wrong with it and they actually give each pairing a good amount of screen time to develop their character

so fu*k what everyone says and be your own judge of the show! x

i binge watched all 15 episodes tuesday just for the last ep to air today 😭 kinda sad ngl

this is a nice slice of life series that doesn’t have much drama and just a bunch of friends falling in love with each other! definitely recommend!

i’m glad to be seeing mostly positive reviews on the show regardless of how you felt about it! i was worried the rating was gonna drop bc of how much the characters were making people upset 😅😭

if you haven’t seen it pls watch! it’s so good but be prepared for an emotional rollercoaster 😂

i felt like they waited too long for them to meet for the first time but that’s just a personal preference. the plot was interesting and they executed it in a completely different way than i thought. if you’re thinking about giving it a try go for it! i can see why a lot of people say it’s a hidden gem, i would definitely tweak some things but hey that’s what fanfiction is for 🤣😂

i’m kinda surprised that there’s no second pairing but they actually need every single bit of screen time tg to get through this plot 😭

honestly i hope by the end of the series the rating stays high bc i'm seeing a lot of hate/anger and despite how the show makes you feel it is extremely good

although i personally take the ratings on this site with a grain of salt, others don’t and it will be fucked if you drop the ratings bc you're upset the MC stayed in a toxic situation, it is still good regardless

i literally said “omg he’s adorable” and realize i will fall for anything 😭 but he seems genuine this time so it’s okay! 🤣

i said last week that i hope ming get his man back and he can redeem himself AND LOOK WTF HAPPENED!!!!

now he does have a long way to go but baby this is an AMAZING start!

hopefully the ep. 11 curse doesn’t happen 🤞🏿😭

just finished binging all 9 episodes a few hours ago and where to start!

okay so before the whole chain situation i was like “i want yak to fuck up and wandee give it back to show how much he fucked up” girl i did not expect the exact opposite to happen omggg 😭 it was very ATL (great movie) style and i screamed when i saw the similarities 😂

i have to admit i didn’t think the show would go in this direction, i definitely expected more angst and miscommunication but this was much better! it’s similar to bed friends too which is in my top 10 bl sooo that’s great

overall loved the episode and can’t wait to see yak start to win wandee over, which i feel like he’s playing hard to get atp bc we ALL know he loves yak back but ofc everything can’t be easy in bl land 😂

mmm i see where you’re coming from but for me it’s not even the time that has past it’s the fact that he was rejected almost 3 years ago and joe gave a solid answer that “he knows what real love feels like” even if it was one sided. so like i get still kinda having hope especially with an ex like ming but he’s just living in a dream not reality. wut even told him “everything’s not as easy as you want it to be.” also joe says all the time “yk you’re like a brother to me” or some variation of that

another problem i have with him is he’s starting to be manipulative just like ming bc his feelings are clouding his judgement. but ik he actually cares for joe a lot as a friend so i don’t completely hate him but he needs to redeem himself for me if that makes sense.

edit: reread your reply and it’s funny you talked about joe always saying he’s over ming bc when i was watching the show i kept saying “it’s so obvious he still has feelings for ming everyone else is just in denial” 😭

another post because i have more thoughts! obviously we all hate tong but seriously what’s his deal?! why is he trying to isolate ming? when all that stuff went down in the earlier episodes i was like “he definitely knows ming likes him” and while i still think he did his behavior now is even more confusing (if it says it in the book don’t spoil it for me yet pls! 😭)

was kinda irritated at how long it took for joe to tell everyone like i get it would sound crazy coming out but if these unexplainable “similarities” keep happening and everyone around you is asking if you’re really the old joe then just come clean atp

felt bad for ming with the body and i feel like that was ignored bc regardless of how you feel seeing your ex’s dead body, who you cared for, is a different kinda pain. and OMG THE PICTURE OF THEM?! broke my heart

overall i dislike tong, secretary jim, sol, and tharn
i love joe and his mom
and i’m neutral on wut and ming


sidenote: ik there’s mixed feelings from people about ming but PERSONALLY i think he can make a come back. when i watch bl this is all a fantasy and i don’t try to associate it with real life bc that’s how a lot people get upset but hey whatever! 😅

girl update: i made that with like 15 mins left of the episode but i still stand by what i said. also rooting for ming to get his man back!

unpopular opinion but sol is extremely annoying to me because it’s not even looking out for your friend, he obviously still has feelings for joe and think he has a chance. if joe turned him down in the last lifetime what would be different in this one?

yesss i literally kept saying “oh?!” the entire time 😭

girl i did not think they could get even freakier than LITA 😭 just imagine what BN series is gonna be like 😭
