not sure why so many people are saying fah's character is bland, i think bever is playing his role perfectly, very similar to how the character is in the book!
also saw a few people complain about the pacing. since there is still a lot to cover for fah and phoon's story, i think the pacing is actually quite good. when shows are based on books, fans often expect the same level of detail as in the book, which is unrealistic 😭.
when i learned out how many episodes each couple would get, i was worried how they would squeeze everything into 8 ep but they might pull it off perfectly.
honestly i’m not even worried about them "rushing" through the getting together phase because theres so many things that happen after that i wanna see 😭

100% agree! it sucks because i've only been watching BL for like 7 months now and it could genuinely be a great community if so many just focused on the actors work instead of the pairing. all of it is extremely unfair and i’m hoping things get better for them because i'm sure its so draining to see stuff like that.

the sad reality is that this is actually real life. i hate it so much because literally no where else in the world do we care about our celebrities this much (and if people do they are the minority)!
You do not know these people. Yes, they would not be where they are today without the love and support from their fans but that is your only job as a fan. To feel like you have the right to their privacy and dictate if they can date or not is absolutely insane! Another problem is that the main demographic for so many celebrities are women and these same women delude themselves into thinking they'll be the fucking chosen one and actually date these people. Well news fucking flash it will NEVER EVER be you!!! You are also sexualizing the fuck out of them which is a whole separate problem in itself. And you cant even blame it on an age group because it's grown ass people who act like that too (literally like po's friend).
I personally want celebrities to start going off on people who feel entitled to anything outside of the work they create and deal with the backlash later because a true fan will not stop supporting you because you're in a fucking relationship or was seen hanging out with the opposite sex.
So many of y’all are like this in the BL community that its so fucking disgusting and you make weird jokes/comments about the boys and its even more disgusting . One example that i saw recently was some random lady in the comment section of the heart killers said "joong just gets my libido going he's so attractive"...what the fuck? That was the grossest shit i've ever seen. If you feel this weird possessive energy towards complete strangers, who you will never get to know personally, then you need to check into a mental hospital immediately.
Whenever i see rumors or people in an uproar over something a celebrity said/did (actors, idols, etc) i get so angry for them because no one should be apologizing for the things they have and everyone needs to realize that at the end of the day this is a fucking job. And while i can say that celebrities are slowly starting to stand up for themselves i wish they speed up the process because too many people are fucking entitled.

I like watching the shows, like a few actors, think the fan edits are cute (some of y’all are delusional asf but i digress), and don't have any feelings on fan service bc i know this is all a part of their job. But i think i’m going to delete my tiktok that i use to watch/repost the edits because i while ik i’m not part of the problem, i NEVER want to contribute/have any sort of parasocial relationship with these people (i have a separate acc because my friends don't know i’m watching two boys kiss every week 😅).
Anyways i’m done ranting, this is definitely the most i've ever written on this site, but i hope every parasocial weirdo watches this episode and understand that they need to change their behavior.
