Around where can I stop watching for a happy ending, before the sad ending happens
stop watching after the hug Xi Gu gives Hao Ting a hug in their apartment at the end of the 2nd to last episode
(depending on where youre watching it, it'll either have 10 or 20 episodes. if 10, stop at the end of ep9, if 20, stop at the end of ep 18)

if a white actor paints his face black to play a black character in a film or show, its bad. in fact its wrong,…
(Just want to remind you that being autistic isn’t wrong in any way, so by mentioning the celebrities I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with them.)

I went with the race card because it’s a really easy way to explain what casting a neurotypical actor/actress to portray a neurodivergent character feels like.
Black face has a longer and more complicated history, I know, I learned about it in school, and had to write long essays about it.
But by then being autistic, I can’t help to see it in a similar way, when the director says “cut” Park Eunbin could stop being autistic, same as at the end of the day Robert Downey Jr. could go back to his trailer and wash of the brown paint when he finished filming Tropic Thunder.

People say it’s wrong for someone to take away rolls for lgbtq+ actors when a cis/strait person portrays a gay/trans character. It’s wrong for someone to portray a physical disabled person when they’re fully abled. It’s wrong for someone to portray a character that’s POC when they themselves are not, and so on. So why is it not wrong for someone who isn’t autistic to portray an autistic character ?

If I were to ask a ransom person to name me an autistic actor/actress, or any famous autistic person in general, they would most likely not be able to name any, but that’s not because there’s no famous autistic people. Autism, like many other things are heavily stereotyped, which Woo Youngwoo simply enhances. The first thing I was told when I told my teachers about my new diagnosis was “but you don’t seem that autistic”. Films, shows, and Characters like Rain Man and the Good Doctor and Sheldon Cooper have created strong stereotypes for the spectrum which is what people think of when they try to name an autistic famous person.

There’s a ton of celebrities who’s on the autism spectrum, Jim Carrey, Tim Burton and Daryl Hannah who all openly talked about being on the spectrum. But many also goes undiagnosed, which is really common, or they simply doesn’t talk about it. There’s many celebrities’ who’s speculated to be somewhere on the spectrum, like: Steven Spielberg, Albert Einstein, Leonardo da Vinci, Bill Gates, Sir Isaac Newton, Elon Musk, Vincent van Goth, Alfred Hitchcock, Charles Darwin, Lionel Messi, and if you want me to name any Korean celebrities whos rumerd to be autistic, Seonghwa (ateez), Mark (nct), Suga (bts), and Taemin (shinee) are just to name a few.

I do believe it’s important to at least try to find an actor who fits the role they’re playing. With Extraordinary Attorney Woo they didn’t even try looking, the project was put on hold for Park Eunbin to be able to play Woo Youngwoo, since she was busy with The Kings Affection. She even declined the offer of the character first, and then later accepted it. I think I would’ve loved the show if they changed some of the plot, like how she was savant and rewrite her character a bit to make her have a personality other than being savant. Eunbin could’ve sill portrayed her, but I wanted something less stereotypical.

While I agree on some of the things you said I don't understand your rant about them needing to hire actor that…
if a white actor paints his face black to play a black character in a film or show, its bad. in fact its wrong, and i thing most people would agree.
then why should they not get an autistuc actor to play an autistic characther ?
i never siad they nesseserly have to be savant (both the character and actor), but to see an autistic character being portraid by an autistic actor woulve been huge.

but WHY DO THESE TWO NEED A SEASON TWO YU SHI GOU IS DEAD. WHAT ARE THEY GONNA DO IN SEASON TWO? GET HIS GHOST…
i read somewhere that the sory is based on a book, it had two endings. so ss2 would explore the other ending, where Yu Shi Gou didnt die in the accident.
