i really want to see double digits too cause this series deserve it so much. Its been a while since i enjoyed a kdrama this much. Dont want to jinx it but my hopes for next sunday is high. This cast and series deserve the best honestly. They are really good.

I was watching queen of tears ongoing and if i remember well its 1,3,5… episodes had also lower raitings compared to 2,4,6… episodes. i think it was also on the weekends(?) for some reason the 2nd episode of the week gets highter raitings. Doctor x gets also higher raitings on its second day i think. I dont know why its always like this.

I watched this episode really fast and didnt get he was effected too at first like soe hee but was there rather to comfort seohee since she is obviously shaken and not okay. so i was like im sure in the following episodes he will change but was like still surprised that he was a bit unfazed- or should i say couldnt seperate if he was concerned too for his people or cares more about seohee and how she is taking it (like the second leads fighting for independence but feels like they are more after personal revenge/agenda). What you say make sense. Since its 16 episodes im sure they gonna dig deeper to his pov. But since now i felt like he isnt that much involved and is more concerned for seohee rather than the situation.

I just dont get one thing. Why is whats happening not bothering hiteo sado since he is korean too? Clearly he is interfering and help when he can (he let that korean man go by the pawn shop). But still it isnt enough. I would also say why is his dad so sure he wont secretly fight for koreas independence but he clearly doesnt trust him anyways and hideo sato is aware of that and still isnt like fully secretly joining the koreans but instead he is just hurt his dad acts like that towards him and try to get his approval(?). I dont know. It is weird to me. He gets to hear insults towards him too but looks like it doesnt get to him (?). I would hate his dad and he also knows its not his real dad and does these horrible things to his people and still try to get his approval. ?

I somehow felt like sato hideo is going to d*e while sacrificing himself for her but since they did the photoshooting of seo hee i feel like she is going to die and that photo is going to end up in hideos hands after she dies :( also the fact that she is eager to leave the country for no matter what and they promised her that even tho she wont make it also give me that vibe. But they can surprise us and k*ll both of the leads 😭

i love you jung and jin young scenes so much. lately ive watched much more cdramas compared to kdramas and get used to leads having a lot more scenes in more episodes together. When i return to kdrama world i always feel like i get much less scene and side of the couple and their story which is a pitty.. Cant really get enough of their scenes and feel like even though its 16 eps i want probably see more of them :(

i barely watch ongoing dramas- watching it ongoing has like another taste to it compared to binge’ing. i like it but do it really rarely. A drama has to be really good or i need something to look forward for that week in my life for comfort or entertaining. This drama has me HOOKED. Its been really long since i couldnt wait for an episode to drop of a series. I love it. The first ongoing drama of mine was also you jungs drama (my demon) love her🫶🏼 also love her chemistry here too🫠 she has chemistry with everyone!

I saw a section from sohees interview about her upcoming projects and she referred to heartbeat as her first romcom and that she will smile a lot in this one {and she is looking forward to it *yayyy*}. I wished it leaned into more serious tone like melodrama where they could show their serious acting. Lately im not a fan of kdrama romcoms (especially the writers previous works like true beauty and lovely runner - i find lovely runner not bad but the romance wasnt 100% my cup of tea- i like mature romances much more and hoped this also leans to that direction), i hope this one is executed well. Because im really hype about it. Nam Joohyuk was really good in Weightlifting fairy and 2521 with his comedic acting, looking forward for sohee too.

I finished ep 17 and im kinda unhappy and dissapointed how the female characters were written in this series. Producer Choi was fitting at least the tone of the series but for me Oh Bong Yi feels out of place and she gets a lot of screentime that i honestly didnt enjoy (love the actresses tho). I feel like for this type of series a female character who is more mature would be ideal. Besides that i enjoyed the series so far. I kinda wished female characters had a different approach in the series (cause i see lots of potential which would make the series even more outstanding), thats why i would rate this 8.5-9/10. Also like the comment below i dont know if its a common thing but why do i feel like male leads in thriller action genre always go after younger naive female leads? Like a badass really smart strong confident mature woman and ba reum dynamic would make this series even more electric and fit with the tone. Like instead of a woman who gets hurt all the time and needs to be rescued by the male lead i wished we could see a woman who is challenging the male lead and compete with him instead of being deceived. Also i know this isnt a romance series but mu chi and producer chois dynamic would be way more interesting to watch for me than ba reum and oh bong yi. its sad that after ep 1 their scenes were underwhelming i felt like there was more potential (not even in a romantic way) and to explore.

At first i was like uhm interesting wonder what is going to happen but then once they settled in the hometown and it kept going pretty much the same tone i started losing interest. And i dont know whether its how the way the main couple story was written or their chemistry was lacking in general- i also lost interest in them. I feel like since i watched lots of kdramas as i got older i started losing interest when couples in their 30s act like high school lovers and portray a cartoonish-like love story. It feels not sincere sometimes. I understand kdramas have their own style capturing / reflecting couples but when the chemistry is lacking it looks like even more a bit out of place sometimes.

I really hope this leans into more mature and passionate romance. CANT WAIT AAAAAA. Finally a kdrama im looking forward to, its been a long time since im this excited for a casting.

Sohee “views the script positively” is pretty much like a confırmation but like not officialy confirmed like joohyuk so i was wondering when the official confirmation comes in general. i kinda wished sohee and joohyuk were the leads in solo leveling so after finding out they gonna get actually cast this soon made me soo happy. but i still fear that maybe she wont be in it last minute so i need that confirmation from her side too asap😭

A question. I was excited for overdo because of the leads and try to avoid spoilers about the series cause lately i dont have much time. But it got really low raiting (which surprised me). Is the series not that good as expected or is it like a fanwar thing with voting down with other intentions. Dont wanna read comments on the series site cause of spoilers or anything.

He is such a good actor but insanely underrated :( wanna see him in more good projects as ml

THE TEASER DROPPED😭 Im waiting since 2024 for joohyuks comeback and cant believe its gonna be here soon. Also the trailer looks SOOOO interesting but i didnt understand a thing. But still really different from this years dramas. SO EFFING SEATED.
