Everything happening around the emperor before he died really irked me. First of all why was he alone in the library. Where was his attendant? He’s suppose to be by his side at all times or at least have someone else if he’s occupied. Also, where were the secret jinwu soldiers that they mentioned earlier on. There were only 2 soldiers that were on guard and they weren’t very good fighters. With the time lapse of the empress and elder murong cleaning the murder scene and moving the emperor, hard to believe no one was around. The writers chopped that scene big time 🤦🏻‍♀️

And here I thought when XJY got that note he was happy bc he could plan a war against susha bc they were vulnerable. He was just excited bc he had a reason to get rid of XJS. Such a petty ruler and not seeing the big picture and seizing the opportunity

It’s the case of he didn’t think about the consequences in the grand scheme of things and just dwelled on the past pain towards he and his father. Now his father is cleaning up his mess setting off a chain reaction of events that he never thought his actions would have caused

I see that as a villain taking advantage of a situation involving a victim and manipulating them to follow them. They’re not helping them out of the kindness of their heart but more about collecting pieces for their game. They will sacrifice any piece in order to win

From tomorrow’s preview, idk if I can buy yuxiao saying she fell for suige a long time ago. I definitely saw him gradually falling for her (I even think he liked her before they met by the way he touched the drawing of her) but she did not show any signs. The signs I got from her was that she found a kindred spirit especially since she couldn’t remember her relationship with her sworn brothers. It was maybe a feeling she missed bc of all the years with them.
Now with the recent episodes, I can see a change in the way she interacts with suige. I guess it’s the wording saying a long time ago that doesn’t sit right. Could be the translation or the writers could have worded it better.

Was anyone else annoyed when the kids came on the screen crying and relieved when the xue ying told them get out? I was like yes get out! I know they were there to verify things for Ning Fei but geez stop the crying already
