Love's Ambition is the best show for 2025

When I watched this show it was by accident coz there was no advertisement. I kept checking on Tencent every week. Anyway, I was so drawn by Zhao Lusi's acting, she was so disciplined, poised and matured. I have to re-watched every episode 3x, because there are so much to take in like the plot, acting, cast chemistry,clothes of Xu Yan, music & need to read English subtitles. After watching I became pickier on selecting other dramas. This show had the quality of Kdrama. I'm dazzled & grateful . I hope they make more high-quality shows like this. I truly love both of these shows because they showcase strong female that are wishy washy nor tolerate being abuse. The first Chinese drama I watched was Love like the Galaxy and since then I watched/followed Zhao Lusi. Her role as 15 years old Niaoniao who didn't get any love from her mother, grandma nor have friends was able to succeed in life to grits, wits & kindness. That also reminds me of Xu Yan who was also abandoned by her parents but got all the unconditional love from her grandma, and she turn out to become a successful entrepreneur & able to find true love. Both characters are so imperfect/ flawed but never make it as alibis to become evil, greedy & immoral. I can also relate to them, and it helps a lot that Zhao Lusi is the one who portrays those roles, if it's not here I will not love it as much. I hope people just support her if not don't invite to rally against her, she already in so much stress w/ her agency. Thank you

LOL show

This show is so hilarious from the male lead, his assistant and the quirky Zhao Lusi. I though Zhao Lusi will be in the background due too many veteran actors especially the male lead. Surprisingly, she held on to that character very well. I was bit hesitant with the age gap chemistry but as usual Zhao Lusi is able to connect with her partner. The ML is very known to be a serious actor but his funny here and had a comfortable sparring with Zhao Lusi. The funnies guy was the male assistant and his bantering with his boss is superbly funny. I love that Zhao Lusi's favorite hobby had shown her which is cooking. She is very funny. I like the episode in the market were people avoided her due to her moods & frugality. Zhao Lusi's always have a very enjoyable chemistry with all the cast. I believe the director of Love's Ambition portrayed as Zhao Lusi's uncle here. This show is my top 6. I peed laughing in this show. I highly recommended and re-watched it again.

My all time favorite show

I watched the part 1& 2, 8x and still fall in love with it. I laugh, cried, mad, sad and have vengeful thoughts because of LBY. This is the show that I started following Zhao Lusi and became her avid fan. I just love her character whether its Niaoniao or Shaoshang. She is so feisty, highly intellectual, free spirit, vengeful but also looks so innocent. Her voice changes which heighten her portraying as 15 years old girl. Her acting superb and very relax not force at all. Her chemistry with Wu Lei is solid. I love all the other cast too, my second favorite will be the grandma, next the emperor and her friend who is very rich. The villains are very good too, you truly hate them like the fifth princess, Shaoshang's mom, LBY & LBY's dad. The show is serious, but they add comedy in it, which I applaud the director. It could had been too heavy if it's just full drama! I also like the love between Shaoshang and the empress, she compensated Shaoshang's yearning for mother's love! As for Wu, his really a good actor but he just has these same facial expressions probably that's what the character ask him to do. I will continue to re-watch and recommend this show for everyone. Shaoshang reminds me of Xu Yan, both fierce, fearless, vengeful but kind & soft hearted! Zhao Lusi, thank you for truly an amazing job with this show and your other shows ( Love's Ambition, Hidden Love, Who Rules the World, The Story of Pearl Girl, Dating in the Kitchen......)
