Wholesome & Heartwarming!

This show was just so much fun and brought me so much happiness and joy! I found it really heartwarming to see the 3 staff members: Kian, Jin and Ye Eun do their absolute best to seriously run the B&B as well as make all the guests feel included and comfortable (as comfortable as they can be haha). I personally really liked the fact that the B&B is meant to be quirky and challenging and while I understand that it can be concerning sometimes, the whole concept behind it was to push people outside their comfort zone and make memories. And I definitely think that they were successful in this. It is also really heartwarming and even inspiring hearing about the guests back stories and seeing them bring their own energy and vibes to the environment. I also loved seeing the staff get really close to some of the guests in particular and seeing a lot of the guests even start to travel together and make day plans together after meeting at the B&B. Some guests especially had such amazing energy that I wish I could see more content with them!

The only minor concern I had was with the comments about India, in terms of eating with hands. I do not think in any way that the idea that Indians eat with their hands was brought up with any malice, or anything outside of just Kian even wanting to share his excitment over the experiences he has had travelling India. However, I do think that there is a lot of nuance to that topic and that considering there are already so many stereotypes about India, the heavy focus on eating with their hands might have a negative impact as well. But on the other hand seeing the staff and the guests not make any insulting/negative comments and instead most of them accept it and even start to enjoy it, that was something I did really appreciate. So my feelings are a bit conflicted on it to be honest. However in terms of Korean (or any) media and entertainment as a whole, I do wish that when applicable they are able to show more accurate representations of not only India but other countries around the world.

That concern however does not take away from my overall enjoyment of the show and I will definitely be rewatching when I need something wholesome and funny! Truly I really enjoyed watching this show and it brought me lots of laughter and heartwarming moments.
