Single’s Inferno 4 was just pure fun—filled with beautiful contestants, great chemistry, and just the right amount of drama. Love triangles? Oh, there were plenty. Love squares? Single’s Inferno 4 exceeded my expectations. After the mess that was Season 3, I was worried we’d get another frustrating, predictable storyline filled with shallow connections and forced drama. Instead, we got a season where, for once, the contestants actually seemed like they wanted to find love. The drama was high, but it didn’t feel unnecessarily toxic. The cast was more mature, the interactions felt more natural, and we finally had couples who actually had chemistry.
The standout pairs? Sian & Junseo, and Dong Ho & Arin. The rest? Mid. Tae Hwan? Weird. Theo? Beautiful, but honestly, he felt like an AI-generated K-drama lead. He looked perfect, spoke perfectly, and did everything "right," but something about him just didn’t feel real. I have no doubt he’s a great guy, just not the right person for Sian.
SIAN AND JUNSEO: THE ONLY LOVE STORY THAT MATTERED
The amount of Sian hate this season was unreal, and honestly, I don’t get it. She followed her heart, and that’s exactly what the show is about. People acted like she was obligated to pick the "safe" guy, but love doesn’t work like that. Junseo made her heart race, and she chose him. Simple.
Was Junseo perfect? No. But the chemistry was undeniable, and the push-and-pull dynamic between them was what made the season worth watching. There was something raw and real about the way they connected, and you could see that they genuinely liked each other beyond the surface level.
I loved that Sian didn’t just pick the guy who adored her the most. She went with the person who challenged her, who made her feel something deeper than just comfort. And for that, I respect her.
DONG HO AND ARIN: THE UNDERSTATED POWER COUPLE
Dong Ho and Arin were the quiet but steady couple that provided a nice contrast to the Sian-Junseo chaos. Their relationship didn’t have the dramatic highs and lows, but it was clear that they were drawn to each other from the beginning. The way Dong Ho always gravitated back to Arin despite the distractions spoke volumes. He never played games, never wavered, and that made their connection feel real and solid.
I do wish we had seen more of their interactions because the editing seemed to focus too much on the love triangle drama instead. But from what we did get, they were one of the most wholesome and authentic couples of the season.
THE REST OF THE CAST: FORGETTABLE
The other couples? They existed. That’s about it.
Tae Hwan: Something about him felt... off. He gave me mixed signals the entire time, and his "I was waiting for someone to change my mind" excuse? Weak.
Theo: Beautiful, perfect, but almost too perfect. He felt like a carefully curated love interest rather than a real contestant. No personality flaws, no real emotional depth—just vibes. I admire his patience, but he was never going to be the one for Sian.
The rest: I’m struggling to even remember their names:(
