It's totally up to you wether you want to ship them or not but let me add few things. First, he went to SK without knowing the mission details. He just told to bring Han Yi Seop to NK and comeback. Also, YR brother is actually part of the administrative staff in military, he is not assigned to the field. Him on the field was actually just a result of bad luck. Second, if he is still the leader of the team (Dr. Kang didn't get in to the dorm) i guarantee you he'll free her up. But after Dr. Kang came, he isn't the captain anymore.

But like what I said earlier it's 100% up to you to want them end up together or nah!👍🏻

The dorm is the center of the plot, even the intro showed us every side of the dorm.

Also it's not 'nothing is happening', lots of things happened. People even thought it's been week they already in dorm because there are too much to understand, but actually till now, it's been less than 5 days if i am not mistaken.
