Title You Are My Glory Spoiler
When the dude finally got over his insecurities and got some sense knocked into him, it was cute that the fl didn't…
that is so true! i like her line when he was hugging her and confessing how he has overthought the whole thing. fl reminded him that when you’re truly in love, reason/logic is out of the window.

Title You Are My Glory Spoiler
i've seen some comments or critiques about how they were initially confused when they watched this because they thought it would be a 'mobile gaming love story' but they ended up getting disappointed because it wasn't apparently the case. some were even questioning what was the point of putting such emphasis on the mobile gaming in the start. i'm not sure what the scriptwriter/director/production team intended but for me (having re-watched this over and over), it makes sense. not only because it was the main key of how they got reconnected after so many years but i feel like it's beyond that as well. see, to my mind, gaming was a field that both of them did not spend so much of their life learning or doing; it wasn't their professional job nor did they study a degree for. so here in lies the story's way of saying this was a 'supposed' neutral field for the ML (who has always been an outstanding and high-performing individual since school) and the FL (who has always looked up to the ML and has admitted she's not as smart as him). see how the ML has treated the mobile game, he excels in whatever role of heroes he chooses to play and can level up immediately. to his mind, probably, this is just some past-time that'll help me get through a major decision-making for my career and work. here is where the story highlights his character's arrogance that indeed, anything he does, he can learn fast and improve so well. i think this was the point of it, in that, when he taught FL how to play he slowly realizes how complacent he's been -- look at this person (FL), even though she's not good at it, she strives and works hard in all the things she wants to do. not just gaming but also in her work as an actress. then, slowly but surely, the bonding moments with the mobile game made him see that FL was indeed a gem or a diamond from the get-go even in high school, how could he have misjudged her like that? so now, she's got everything.. what am i supposed to offer her now?

I can't quite put my finger on it but Dylan shines through as an actor with his character in this cdrama. I'm guessing it's probably because the character's personality is how he is in real life. Amazing production and acting, I think the team did their best to fit in all the relevant details from the novel it was based on into season 1 as a build up for season 2 (which I'm hoping would come soon). And I'm serious, ya'll better make a season 2! This is Dylan Wang's epic saga -- "The Legend of Dylan Wang." (^___^)

I would like to know your decision on this. Did you finish or not? I just finished the first episode and after…
I have put this on a perpetual pause. Maybe if I have nothing else to watch will I go back to watching this again.. Tbh though, there are a lot of better cdramas recently.

Really contemplating if I want to finish this or not -- to the point that I had to create an account here. I'm so annoyed. Annoyed at the premise of the love story between FL and ML. The actors and acting are great; I've been an avid supporter of Zhou Ye ever since I watched her in Love Me, Love my Voice. And I've always been on the lookout for cdramas with her as lead... But this one... Sigh. How the team interpreted the ML's character created a manipulative and self-serving person. Truly disappointing.
