Uh well the actors are ok. They could’ve been better chosen. And the personality of the main female is really different from the novel? In the novel, she’s a determined, vengeful and sharp woman with amazing poison skills. But based on the trailer, she seems more childish and naive? And it seems like she accepted the bribe from the empress dowager in the trailer, but in the novel she completely refused. I hope these actors can play out the characters vividly for this novel. The male actor looks cool but he seems more like the heroic type rather than the cold/heartless type. Well I can only hope for the best. I hope this drama won’t disappoint one of my favorite novels and it’s fans.

I prefer Yang Yang than ZZH for Long Fei Ye's role... i don't think ZZH can portray the character of Giant Ice…
Exactly what I was thinking

ugh, ikr ;-; i liked his roles in stuff like the great wall and the witness way more than what he is doing now…
Now we know why he picked this drama to act in ;)

This movie was a movie with a message. With the help of her 17 yo self she was able to become someone that didn't need a man to rely on. Instead, she made both male leads fall for her once again, but she does not need a man. Great feminist message!

Okay I'm back, needless to say, great drama.

But what I didn't like about this was that everything only revealed in the end. Like the 58/67 eps was a stretch. I felt a little bored at all these unnecessary battles and I'm sure everyone was more excited to see Chu Qiao regain her memories instead of the war. And it just kinda dragged on, they would mention Chu Qiao's background once or twice in like 10 episodes and it frustrates me.

And she didn't even get a scene when she regains her memory to be awesome, quite disappointing. The characters were pretty cool and smart. I'm sure if there weren't at least like five battles in every episode, this series would progress smoother and fluently.

But it was pretty good i look forward to season 2.

This drama was really good actually, there wasn't any scenes that were too much, obviously there had to be some annoying characters that we wish that weren't included in this series,

I haven't finished yet so I'll give my review after I'm don't with all eps, but it's really good so far. The main female is really amazing, I love it when they're not the dumb, naive, females that almost every other drama portrays. And the main male is great too, except that he doesn't have much expression lol.

There's hardly any romance in here but I'm only in the 40s so idk if it'll get better. But I came from Eternal Love to this and it's a pretty good development. Both had powerful lead females that didn't need Prince Charming and independent.

The only thing I regret was starting it on DailyMotion where it has the 58 eps and going over to NewAsianTV where there's 67. I blame myself but I'll definitely rewatch this series when it comes out on Viki :)

why did they call it three lives and three worlds? can someone list them for me
I'm sure it applies to Bai Qian, she lives as three lives, Si Yin, Su Su, and Bai Qian in three totally different settings(worlds).

And Ye Hua was with her in all of the worlds.

Props to her man. She goes from a cute little girl who's naive to the world in Boss and Me to a savage that's so badass in Princess Agents.

Def one of my favorite actresses :)

This was a nice, realistic drama. Except for some scenes, I found this drama pretty decent. It wasn't something I love but it didn't make me drop it either.

The girl is super cute and she's a good actress and the guy literally only had like three expressions in all 33 eps. But besides that it was ok

Okay so there was a lot going on in this drama. Most of them were not good things. In the beginning it was good and dandy. But I noticed that the main female hardly had any expressions??? And when she does it seems so forced.

The flow of the story is greatly...horrible. Like the writers just randomly shove in romantic moments anywhere they find that something is missing. And the kisses...oh god the kisses... like is it a trend for Chinese actresses to become a statue when they're being kissed? Not all but I've seen most do this. It's like the male lead is kissing a mannequin or something.

I watched the trailer first and the only thing that motivated me to watch this besides Yang Yang's handsome face was the scene I saw in the trailer. Where the main girl gets her payback from all the people that talked crap about her. That was the only thing that motivated me besides Yang Yang.

Basically the story is unrealistic and the scenes are even more unrealistic, they didn't even try tbh. I expected more out of a popular drama like this but I was highly disappointed. This is probably a 3 out of 10

This drama was an all time favorite of mine. I used to be so close minded and I didn't want to try anything else outside of kdramas and this was the drama that change that.

I love the two main leads, they brought me laughter, tears, and anxiety lol. All of the characters were beautiful and well-played. I understood the plot perfectly. And though there were annoying characters in parts, that didn't make me disappointed surprisingly.

If I were to pick one thing out of this drama that I didn't like, it would be all the unneeded scenes. Like the romance between Feng Jiu and Duijin was cute, but it wasn't as good as the main couple, and I honestly felt like that was not necessary. Also there didn't need to be 1000 characters either lol there were so many characters I had to keep going back tot he Wiki page to help me memorize their names and roles.

But that's it I'll give this drama a 9.5 it was worth all 58 episodes
On Once upon a Time Aug 17, 2017
Okay so like you shouldn't watch this movie if you haven't read the novel or watched the drama. There are a lot of parts missing, so you'll be very confused if you watched it first handed. And though the actors were incredible, it doesn't make up for the unbalanced flow of the plot. It was sudden changes that led from one event to another, basically the movie was choppy. The graphics were applaud worthy though. But on a scale of 1 to 10, I'll give it a 4 or 5 and that's only because of the actors and effects. I recommend the drama wayyyy over this.

I had really high expectations for this movie since the drama was a big time favorite of mine, but I ended up being disappointed. But no fear, an hour and fourty two minutes of Yang Yang made up for it.
