If someone had told me that I'd give this rating to one of my most anticipated dramas of 2025, I'd tell them they're crazy, but yes, I've given it this rating despite everything.
Where to start? A couple with tremendous potential, demonstrated in The Princess Royal (one of my favorite historical films) only for all of that to be wasted with the most mediocre script I've ever seen in my life 💀
On top of that, that violent chapter cutting was horrible 😭

Some scenes made no sense, some subplots were incomplete.
Can someone explain to me how they're going to address that ending for Xiaoqi or his parents, for example?

They didn't even address the issue of her dead brother in more depth. I'm left in limbo.

It's a shame, I think, that both the platform and the people involved in the project didn't take full advantage of Zhang Linghe and Zhao Jinmai's talents.

I don't know if we'll have any opportunities in the future, for a third project but I will only accept it with a great script 🙇
