can u give me some spoilers if u dont mind please do mls end up together is it a bl? and whats the story abt TT
Some people viewed what happened as a betrayal, but I don't think so. I read that in a comment too, before I watched the show, and it had me constantly on the look out for who would be the bad guy. But in the end there was no bad guy. None of these characters are evil. Because of the situation, one of the guys begins to believe his bf is falling in love with the girl. He doesn't want to watch this happen, so he decides to disappear, making sure they can't find him. After he abandons them, they do actually end up getting married, but not because they fell in love. They do it to try to make the best of the situation they are in, a situation the 3 of them created together. None of them get a complete happy ending, though the series tries to hint that the future may not be as bleak. Anyway, it's really good, and it will stick with you, but it's also really sad because you come to really care about these characters and they all end up a little broken.

Makki deserved better..glad he has it in the end..Eiji deserves the suffering he has in the end...I mean they…
Makki deserves his share of the blame as well. He disappeared on them without a word, and did everything he could to make sure they couldn't find him. I think Makki freaked himself out. He thought Eiji was falling in love with Mieko, but Eiji just loved her for allowing him to be a father. That's not the same as romantic love. Of course Eiji is going to have to pay more attention to Mieko while she's pregnant, that's just being responsible. Even if it was Makki's child, I have no doubt Eiji would have behaved the same. Also, Eiji didn't suddenly turn straight. It just made sense to get married for the baby's sake, esp. if Makki forcibly removed himself from the picture. They all made a stupid decision together, and they all lost something special as a consequence.

I so wanted a little more definitive happy ending for Makki with Asato at the end. At least Eiji didn't really…
Eiji frustrated me, but I feel like he gets too much of the blame. I do feel the worst for Makki, but he ran away first. Just disappeared on them. Then suddenly they had a baby to take care of, and that had to be the priority. Eiji didn't suddenly fall in love with Mieko. He loved her for allowing him to become a father, which isn't the same thing as romantic love. All 3 lost something special. Eiji realized that too, which is why he was crying so hard at the end. And yes, that does make me feel a little better for Makki. The 3 made a stupid decision, and didn't even think about what they would do when the baby was born. Would Eiji and Makki act as parents? Would all 3 of them raise it together? Mostly I just hate that Eiji's father got everything he wanted by refusing to accept Eiji's sexuality. He was forgiven way too easily. It's all so frustrating.

It's about 3 beautiful people, two guys and one girl. The two guys fall in love, and the first half of the series makes you love all 3 of them more and more. And then in the last half, the 3 make a stupid decision that ends up changing and/or breaking their connection. I can't say any one person was at fault, nor that there was any real betrayal. The 3 just made a stupid decision, and then had to do what they needed to in order to make the best of it. It's really well done, but not an easy watch. I mostly felt frustrated with how things turned out, cuz the characters are so beautifully written and portrayed that you want them to be happy.

This was cuter than I expected. Also, does anyone else think Yul looks like Lee Jong Suk?

is the original novel available in English?
The original novel is called "Addicted." I found a decent translation on Wattpad, posted by saehan01. Just search "Addicted"

Title Stay with Me
For most of this series, I considered it a Bromance. But the last couple of eps were way too BL for me to interpret it any other way. The original still holds a special place in my heart, but this version won me over in the end as well. I don't know how I'm supposed to wait for a 2nd season after that ending!

@ryanclovis I’m not sure if you and I are watching the same series with them in it because I think EarthMix…
I can recommend a few that I really enjoyed: The Eighth Sense, About Youth, HIStory 3: Make Our Days Count, I told Sunset About You, To My Star, Blueming, My Love Mix-Up, Eternal Yesterday, Love Sick, Addicted

Idk what it is, but every drama Earth and Mix star in together I just find so meh. I thought ATOTS was okay, but nothing like the hype around it, and the same goes for Moonlight Chicken. Cupid's Last Wish I can't even rate, because Mix's character was so annoying in the first episode that I couldn't bring myself to watch another. Since I do like both actors, I'll probably continue watching their next projects, but with lowered expectations.

this is so sad that series get bad respons cos only the bad kiss:((( istg ppl seriously watching a bl only to…
How have you seen worse kissing??? Unless you mean profile kisses, where two people just position their heads to look like they're kissing. Literally the best kiss in this drama was when they didn't show it at all, and we only got to see their shadows kiss 😭

still sad that the father got exactly what he wanted in the end
That's what pissed me off the most. I just kept coming back to the fact and getting so angry.

Anyone know which chapter of the web novel picks up where the drama left off?
On HIStory5: Love in the Future Mar 2, 2023
Maybe "HIStory3: Make Our Days Count" set the bar too high for me, but I haven't enjoyed a HIStory series that much sense then, this one included. I just want to care about the couples as much as I did the two couples in MODC.

I know it was an impossible situation but the friends got let off the hook way too easily in my opinion
It would be one thing if Makio was pushed out, but he left on his own. And there was an innocent child that still needed to be raised. I felt the worse for Makio, and I want him to find happiness again. But I also want Mieko and Eiji to be happy. That said, I'd like Eiji's father to die violently.

It had me wondering if Makio was real or a figment of their imagination, because he never appeared alone, always apart of some other character's POV.

I feel kind of ambivalent about this series. On the one hand, the production was really nice. I particularly loved…
I loved all 3 of them. I think I would have loved Asato as well if I had more time to get to know him. But yes, the decision they made wouldn't have been made by any sane person, and the characters were so believably written that they wouldn't have made such a decision. It was far too out of character.
