I decided to continue with the 3rd episode.... and surprisingly, I'm glad I did. The main couple is stil dry asf with no progression at all but getting the snippits of Methas, Mekhin and CIAR's backstory was the highlight of this episode (which is surprising since it was only spoken and not shown). Their backstories were so goooood! Especially my boy Ciar! We now know why he is the way he is. His intense hate for humans comes from a very tramatic place and I wish they explore it more moving forward. Methas regards loyalty so high becasue of the betrayal he got which is why he's so loyal to Ramil. Mekhin's story was just so depressing. I knew there was a dark edge to him under than happy and bubbly personality. See? That's what happens when info of the characters is revealed little by little so the audience doesn't get detached from them. Wish they would do the same for Ramil and Pun becasue so far, I could care less if they both dropped dead. The scenes of the hunters were so good as well! Aj and Jj are a vibe. I loved getting info on how they hunt vampires and their weapons.
Very disappointed by the main couple. They lack chemistry, which is surprising because the actors are so good together in real life. The characters know each other for only a few hours, and they are acting so romantically for no apparent reason. I know they are fated or whatever, but still, there should be at least some buildup moments. The first trailer, released a year ago, had so much potential. The cast change didn't affect the drama at all since Barcode and Aun are great contributions. It is the mysterious and thriller vibe which is completely gone. The character of Ramil is so.... annoying. Wtf do you mean?! Half of the things he does are nonsensical. If somebody woke up a century later, I wouldn't expect them to act this way. Also, he's not leader material at all. Just a goofy guy. The only good thing about this drama is BARCODE... his performance is carrying the show tbh. His character is nuanced, and his actions are motivated by various feelings like self-interest and pride. Don't think I'll watch it anymore.
Are there concepts like cheating in it? Is there a happy ending for Sand and Ray? If I'm going to watch it, it will be only because of them. If they don't end up together, I'm not interested.
But why am I wishing for Dr. Kan to actually be the killer? 😭I feel like it could make for some interesting…
Same!!! The conflict would be crazy! Like, Wsaan would fall in love with Dr. Kan and then he would try to justify his action and maybe potentially try to save him from getting caught. It would be unlikely, but I hope there is fanfiction like that on AO3.
This drama is seriously so underrated!!! I loved the characters, the plot, the visuals, and the character development of Charn and Tan. I absolutely loved it. 100% recommend.

P.S. Spoil me; I don't care.
