The couple's development is very slow, Taichi is a little slow and Maya's appearance didn't help either, but at the same time, it seems that the couple was forgotten in the middle of the series. In a way, it gave a more melancholic shape to the couple, with the arguments and distancing, which gave Taichi time to realise his feelings.

Teenage love will never be actually cringe
And unfortunately it all came to an end, but I'm deeply happy I'm here since the beginning.I feel pretty seen as a teen, teenage love is confusing, rough, even dramatic. We're just starting our love journey, we learn through heartbreaks, break-ups, even when we mess up with our loved one. I'm far from thinking this series is cringy or "too dramatic".
I really wish we could get a second season, it looks like it's not over. I would love to see them growing up and learning more about themselves through this new relationships (or maybe this is just an excuse to see more of IndyJia).

It's amazing how I have nothing bad to say about this bl. The characters, the trope, the development of the couples, everything seems to have been meticulously created to please us in a devastating way. The angsty parts managed to make me cry A LOT though, even my mom was sad for me after the break up scene 😭. Was this review helpful to you?
About Pertar 🙁… They really deserve a series just for them, they have so much chemistry, I can’t take it!! Nothing to say about the teachers though, they’re literally my parents 😚
