based on the preview for ep 13, I am dropping this. Writers are spinning it into typical soap opera/older style K-Dramas, very uncalled for (though I have no idea if all of that is in the novel; even if so, the writers could have chosen a different path). For me the perfect ending of the series was ep 11 till after the wedding (minus ex-fiancée). Now, I am only interested to know about Ms Yan/Mr Lee - maybe someone equally interested can mention once the series is finished, which episode to watch.

The ML facial expressions and tone of voice are so spot on whenever he is with FL. He is very funny and convincing.

Yes, that seems to be ref next ep (8) on TKU(?) stocks; I was referring to Roijental stocks in ep 1. where t seems she did not change her account after sher noticed him seeling off what she had bought.

However, it does frustrate me that she does not use common sense to guard herself against PMW and JSM, for example: she knew he has access tpo her bank acocunt, she bought shares which he immediately sold against her plans - and she still did not open a separate bank account??? Her PC: Why does she leave the stock site open for that rotten JSM to see???
If she is going to keep such nonsense up, I will probably drop.

My first thought (after watching the trailer) was that it rather reminds me of "Thirty-Nine" (2022: https://kisskh.at/692971-thirty-nine) where there are three best (female) friends, and one of them dies of cancer, while the remaining ones try to deal with her (illness and) death.

Well, when they all first met the fake cousin, she was putting on her full charm because she needed to get him on her side for his shares (plan A).
With the real cousin she does not need to care as she knows her eldest brother has already been in contact with him and will most likely succeed in getting his shares.
So, her charm & hospitality have considerably cooled off ref fake cousin (as she now knows him being fake and he is basically useless in terms of shares; till then she also tried to avoid marrying rich guy) as well as towards real cousin.
Plan B is now to marry the rich guy for his shares (she does not love him and both know what they are getting out of this deal); so the moment she did a u-turn on fake cousin as he was now useless, she headed straight to rich guy.
I also feel sorry for the real cousin, regardless whether he would have appreciated them being nice to him or not (as in his world i.e. criminal social environment kindness comes with a price tag, so he would by nature have been suspicious had they been kind).

I chose a different path to read the entire novel:
First I read ch. 1-149 in the superbly(!) translated version here: https://www.novelupdates.com/series/the-husky-and-his-white-cat-shizun/ .
Not wanting to wait roughly 10 chapters/month or more than a year to finish the novel (as I would lose interest), I opted to read the summaries - yes, summaries! At first I hought, well, it´s not the same as reading the dialogues, descriptions, etc., but they are very well done also in capturing details. Of course the summaries vary in length: some shorter, some longer ones esp. when major turning points happen. So, I read summaries of ch. 150-311: https://the-husky-and-his-white-cat-shizun.fandom.com/wiki/Novel/Chapters - this also saved some agony and sleepless nights when wanting to read full chapters in one go... The summaries of the extra chapters, i.e. 312-350 are not done or might not happen, I guess.

And now the main reason why I chose to write a comment, are the perceived similarities to other well-known novels (HP, HOB, GDC, SVSSS, Thousand Autumns) which simply kept bugging me when reading TH&hWCS. These similarities are listed in the spoiler below:

ATTENTION: The synopsis seems to have changed completely!!! (Unless the original storyline is basically "hidden" underneath). It would have been huge if the original storyline had passed CN censorship - I wonder why they didn´t simply move production & filming to Tw instead of now having to change the story?

I mainly wrote this comment for the short version/special edition, but it can also fit here:

Version:
Long | short - short version is only a cut v. and not a remake. Had watched long v. 2x in 2019 (first time one misses many clues "just have to know what´s going to happen next"), then started 3rd round now, but went to short v. after reading comments "newly added scenes" etc. Well, couldn´t enjoy short v. much as I kept looking for such "new scenes". [[Spoiler: only new scene to me seemed at Cloud Recesses when LZ was drunk & started wandering off several times, then being carried back; & end of ep11]].

Cut scenes special edition/short v.:
I really wonder how they will explain many cut plots from the earlier time line for the later time line (or will they simply cut those too?). There was only one well done part for inserting an explanation as a flashback [[Spoiler: flash back of destruction of the Cloud Recesses, but then again the betrayal in their midst was not shown]].

Ending:
Short version comments (YouTube) astonish me. The "correct" ending is actually or equally in the long version [[Spoiler: they do not remain at Cloud Recesses forever, they travel around => book. And if you look very closely at the ending seconds of the long version you will see that they remain together]].

Length:
Long v. eps are so interesting that each ep. ends too fast -> minus intro & end credits, eps are barely 40 mins. When reaching ep50 "What, it´s already over?? I need more eps!!!" (And yes, you´ll definitely want to have a LZ in your life, esp. after reading the novel.)

Time line:
There are only two(!) time jumps in the long v. [[Spoiler: long v. | ep1 | first five minutes shows past - and what a start that was!!! Totally lost in short version - then shows present.
Long v. | ep2 | then the past starts in chronological order so that seemlessly in ep33 the past merges to the present time line]]. => So, don´t understand why "intl. viewers" would get confused about time line in long version. The original novel has many, many time jumps - there you really need to be attentive, otherwise one would be lost.

Relationship:
Between long & short v., there is no difference - it´s exactly the same, hence the summary of short v. is incorrect in my opinion. The only reason why one might think the relationship in short v. is more "focused" is because so many scenes are cut, that you simply reach the scenes b/n the two ML faster.
I highly recommend to read the article "All the symbolism behind the WangXian´ ship in the ´The Untamed´" https://filmdaily.co/news/the-untamed-wangxian-symbolism/ - and review by "angelVSdevil" July 29, 2019 on "The Untamed My Drama List" specifically section *Will we see gay romance or not?*
