swing girls & a boy!
Im seriously obsessed with Swing Girls! I already adore musicals, but this movie hit me right in the feels with its characters and story. their struggles, their little joys ,everything felt so raw and real. I couldnt stop smiling while wathing it.Also, their performance in the end of the movie was EVERYTHING!

too much going on?
It is a great show with a different plot compared to other popular BL's but sometimes it can be hard to reconcile what's going on, and it's probably because theres so much side characters and they are all complicated characters. Of course the show has some absurd things and events but it doesn't stand out very much, so it is bearable.I am very excited about season 2 because The second season will dive deeper into the side couples stories! can't wait.

the show didn't exactly manage to nail it.
As I said in the headline, the show had some gaps and inconsistencies. It could have been a good show with a good story if they had managed to nail it.Also, they should have cast a trans man instead of a cisgender heterosexual man because the performance didn’t fully capture the lived experiences.
he show flips between serious emotional themes (such as identity and acceptance) and light rom-com moments a little too abruptly, so it can feel disjointed.
