i must say that Jiakai's friend is the most lively character i've ever seen; that man is not giving up to find…
This is my opinion but I don’t think Chiakai necessarily trusted the random lady, he doesn’t just trust a stranger’s words over his love for DaWei.
What Chaikai trusted was his powers, and since the single other person with the same powers told him something, I think it felt more believable.
Also Chiakai does not want to end up hurting DaWei, so the lady’s words probably scared him alot. Chiakai has lost his parents and we can see that he wanted to stay close to his grandma so much that he would sacrifice his career (going into a plastic company just to live with grandma) so he has stronger attachment and probably thought that he was already on the verge of being possesive, so the lady’s words (she told Chiakai that possessive behavior will tear their relationship apart) felt even more believable.
Sorry for the long comment, but I just wanted to share my thought because I really liked this series!
I really really really loved this series. It felt natural and the chemistry was very good. I could tell that DaWei was falling more and more each episode, and Chiakai was gay panicking and not knowing what to do lmao. I especially like how they acted with their eyes and used body language, we could tell what they were thinking and what point their relationship was at.
The usage of threads was very interesting and new, and I think the plot was very strong (no random plot twists or confusing messes) They blended the supernatural aspects very well with the serious moments, and all of the cast did a great job. I think this was a very good rom-com/slice of life BL. (Also, I liked the psychology terms that were the titles/themes of each episode and how it played a part in their relationships.)
The only thing I would change, is the number of episodes. 2~3 more episodes would have given it more space to tell the full story in my opinion, Although it didn’t feel super rushed, with the number of characters, it feels like they were struggling to balance the main cast’s scenes with the side character’s scenes. I would have liked to see more of DaWei’s perspective, and they could have touched more on the conflict between DaWei and his father. That would be the part where Chiakai would be able to shine since It’s the one time DaWei was utterly terrified (besides the cockroach invasion lol) . I would also like to see more fluff/daily life between the main cp, and maybe a little more communication between them because we didn’t really get to see when they started dating besides the shoelace scene. I did enjoy the larger cast though, and each character added alot to the series because we can see Chiakai’s character growth from all of the interactions, and it lets us understand the characters better.
Overall the production and acting were amazing and I would recommend this show to everyone I know.
