ryoji wanted to infuse the thought and instinct to survive into katsuragi's brain. when he said it was the only way, even if he knew it was wrong, ryoji thought that triggering his sense of survival will make him realize that he wouldnt want to die, that he would want to just get out of there alive. i hope i wasnt very late lol
