YESS, people need to watch this show like something new, if they keep comparing or maintain the mindset of swdbs their opinions are gonna be biased because of a show from 6 years ago. This comment section is frustating, but okay hahahha glad there are other plataforms to talk about this show
if you want to watch this show because of swdbs, don't, it's from the same universe, but with VERY different story and characters, has the same vibe of swdbs but is very different, it's a spin off after all. and omg, people here like to complain, if you watch the show with these comments in mind you will not like it because the negativity is strong. The show is about the three generation of strong women, so they will show the grandma, mom and daughter, if you don't like it, stop the show, the complaints are always the same, you all can watch what you want but if you all are gonna complain about the same things over and over again, it's better to stop and find something you enjoy and stop wasting your time, I'm not saying to not criticize the show, there is flaws, like everything, but if you are trully watching the show, some complaints are explained and turns out the show just isn't your cup of tea.the complaint about nam soon not hiding her strenght is simple, namsoon grew up in Mongolia using her force all the time, it's completely understandable why she doesn’t hide her strenght in korea, she likes to help people and she went to korea with a distorted view of the country because of the idols and dramas she watched and are now knowing that korea are not the fairytale she thought and that there are bad people that will take advantage of her strenght, in swdbs bong soon hided her force because she was afraid of the judgement and because her crush, that douche, thought she was a girl that couldn't do nothing and needed to be protected and Bong soon liked that because it was the way he was paying attention to her until she met min min that liked her the way she was, people are comparing things that aren't comparable.the ML and FL liked each other from the beggining, the ML (beautiful) is soft and caring, shares the same values of namsoon, I like to call them soulmates, because nam soon is a girl that has a strong sense of justice and wanted a "pure" man, their interactions are really sweet and adorable, I'm liking their relationship. The villain is really good too, but people are creating a love triangle that doesn't exist, I think the villain are charismatic too, I saw complaints that the villain of swdbs was a real villain that people hated and in nam soon it isn't, but it is, he's a drug dealer with a deadly drug killing people left and right and that are using nam soon for his own benefit (just because he isn't kidnapping women doesn't make him less evil), I really like the actor of the villain.the complaint I have is the treatment of nam in, he's a sweet guy that are suffering too, I hope that the fatphobia will be adressed by the family and that he finally will be treated right.and one more thing, if you take this show too seriously you will be disappointed, there are some ridiculous things, some bad effects (like swdbs) but I like these type of things on this drama, because in this aspect the don't take themselves very seriously ahahaha
I thought I wouldn't like this drama at all, but I watched the first two episodes and now I'm completely hooked, waiting anxiously every week. I'm really liking all of the actors and the storyline
I really liked this drama. The cinematography is so beautiful, it was a vibe hahaha, I liked the actors too, it's a realistic drama, no doubt, and it's not for everyone, I think that is why many people are giving a low rate, they went with a lot of expectations that didn't match this type of drama and were disappointed, but I thought it was a really great drama with amazing visuals. I suggest you to watch this drama and judge yourself if you like it or not
