Title When the Phone Rings Spoiler
I saw someone post somewhere "the plot twist! the paper he made her signed is actually the marriage certificate…
I thought that he was confident because he had no interest in In Ah and also knew for a fact that In Ah had no interest in joining his family either.

To Sae Eon, his heart only belongs to HeeJu, so he will not "discard" her just because of a petty blackmailer.

I'm not sure about the contract and marriage certificate plot twist you mentioned since logically speaking they should have anyway signed the marriage certificate to make the marriage official infront of the family. The agreement is just a custom version of a Pre-nup which is usually signed in advance (at least that's how i understood it).
In the wedding flashback, SE informed HJ that the wedding was switched to a private event so I'm assuming they later had the official wedding ceremony with only the family involved.

Unless the secretary has his own reason to destroy Sa Eon? His involvement seems so random and the kidnapper also doesn't seem charismatic enough to brainwash someone like the secretary.

Did you notice how in ep 1, Mr Kang praised Park when he instantly memorised 406's contact number? Mr Kang said "former reporters are so impressive". One of the other team members also mentioned that SE personally selected Park to join his team too (or something similar to that). It's interesting how Park has been following Sa Eon's footsteps so diligently for such a long period of time. Either he's a fan like Yuri or he's upto something right? ๐Ÿ™ˆ

Ikr?! I tried to see if i can see the mole but no amount of pausing and rewinding helped ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

Park might be helping Sa Eon to find HeeJu because he doesn't want to blow his cover? Losing Heeju isn't the kidnapper's end game (though honestly if HJ did die, that would have probably killed SE too ๐Ÿฅฒ). The kidnapper probably has more plans to destroy Sa Eon so he needs his moles to stay on standby? Idk...WTPR is making me over analyze i guess with all the theories ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

Grand father- yes!!! I agree with you. The signet ring definitely means that it had to be a family member so it would have to be either the dad or the grandfather๐Ÿค”

The son isn't mentally stable. All he probably sees is that Sa Eon stole his life (and Sa Eon being a big deal in South Korea doesn't help his stuation either).

Based on Sa Eon's recurring nightmares (and the SML's mystery plot with the orphanage) there might be a chance that the real son may have known Sa Eon as a kid? Or at least caught a glimpse of him?

Don't think it's the age gap that's bothering him. Seems like he has a secret that might not be accepted by the society/ could affect his potential significant other.

(His behavior reminds me of One Spring Night and the second couple from Love Next Door for some reason)

They really did a brilliant jpb- normally i don't really care about "teen" versions of MCs in romcoms since the scenes are usually pretty clichรฉ but these 2 actors did an amazing job- their dynamic is just ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Sa Eon comes from a legacy political family. Think thats why the grandfather spoke avout not even keeping rusty spoons in his home (ep 5- Sa Eon's mum recalls a memory where she was asked to choose between her son and being the presidential something's D I Law).

Wouldn't be surprised if all this mess happened over family ego and greed.
The only strange thing is why not just declare the real son dead instead of replacing him. And why is Sa Eon having nightmares where he is drowning . If the real son isn't dead, where did they hide him? I mean SE's dad made it sound like as if the real son wasn't there problem for 20 years after all ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…

(Potential Spoiler if you haven't watched ep 6 yet๐Ÿ‘‡โš ๏ธ)
Park is currently the main suspect after what happened in ep 6 (some detective level fans even matched a mole that was apparently visible on the hand of the person who pushed HJ off the cliff against the actor's hand ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ™ˆ)

What do you think?

Exactly!!!!

I feel like Sang U is one of the good guys too. He's annoying but I feel like his concern for Heeju goes beyond a crush. He seemed more concerned after he noticed how HJ and SE seems to have a close connection....may be he does have a vague idea that the Baeks might be involved? At least indirectly?

The interpretor and even Mr Park seem too young to be the real son. But it's possible that Park is an accomplis may be?

I mean, Park wasn't supposed to be part of the task force initially (he only got to be second in comand because the sect. Chief couldn't work fast enough). It's also been bothering me how the sectional chief said that "former reporters" are exceptional because Park memorized the phone number instantly. So it's possible Park could be tailing after Sa Eon even when SE was a news anchor? The reason why he would betray Sa Eon though is hard to imagine since it would have to be pretty big to throw his potentially succesful career and life away just to help some random psycho๐Ÿ™ˆ

Can't wait till Friday to find out more๐Ÿ™ˆ

Even from the beginning he never really had an intension of marrying Heeju. The only reason why he switched the brides was because Heeju was about to get married off to a scumbag.

He really was ready to sacrifice everything ๐Ÿซ ๐Ÿซ ๐Ÿซ

No worries but don't skip the epilogues- they add so much more nuance to the story!!! Specially loved ep 6's epilogue ๐Ÿฅฒ

About the switched sons theory- it wasn't in an epilogue/ the show hasn't confirmed it yet but based on the fact that the psychotic kid from the SML's past and the son Sa Eon's mum was mourning for is the same, it kind of is the most reasonable explanation. Specially since out of anger, Sa Eon once told HJ that people like his parents are evil enough to switch their own children (the elevator scene after the family dinner) as well as the fact Sa Eon's mum practically forced him to eat sushi just because her son "likes fish" during a childhood flashback scene..

Here is my theory guys!!One of the missing twins is sa eon and the other one is that kidnapperThe dream where…
I don't think Sa Eon's mum is involved (at least for now). She's sacrificed too much to get to where she is, which is why she's always mad at the dad for not behaving like a proper presidential candidate.

She might change her stance though if the kidnapper really is her son. Consider this as a second chance for her to help her child?

The drama seems to have a theme with second chances (Sa Eon and In Ha's relationships with HJ for instance as well as SML's chance to get justice for his friends), so it wouldn't be a surprise really.
