I think it's the kidnapper and accomplis. In Ah was convinced that it wasn't her dad. The only other person to benefit from humiliating Sa Eon on his wedding day would be those two IMO (fits with the "destroy SE" agenda.

SE didn't want to marry HJ in the first place and marrying her isn't the only option available to save her from her horrible mother. Even if he did .arry In Ah, he still could have found a way to "save" Heeju since it's obvious that he has some influence over the Hong family.

My bet is on Do Jae- he knows too much and fits most of the clues....he even has access to the fisherman's caller information and was the one who sent SE to the villa coincidentally on the same day the projector was set up. Either he's the biggest scape goat in tv history or the mastermind 🙈

True...it's rather sweet in a way how the reporter and Sa Eon have their own language (and understanding) between them. Behind that gruffness and teasing, there seems to be real friendship and comradery.
It's basically a paternity test but they didn't show the % DNA match which is an interesting move for a kdrama.
It says DNA test (my neurotic ass had to google translate it when they showed it in In-Ah's flashback before the translation was released).
They didn's say paternity test exactly but if you think about it, normally kdramas go for paternity tests directly right? More than "is he related" approach?

That's so true. I guess the closest to caring is the HBC Reporter? Since in one of his message threads (after the wreathe incident or news report) that wasn't translated, he had sent a couple of messages showing his concern for him and telling SE that he can support him if he needs help.

Sang Woo's involvement is coincidental i'm guessing. It's because he got the chance to host the crima show, his involvement got more active.
I'm still not sure but it makes sense for the Twin to be the mastermind since it looks like the main objective is to destroy Sa Eon in every sense.
The real Sa Eon is also being used because the Master tries to control his movements. For instance, he was visibly displeased with the Kidnapper for the pizza bomb stunt. My question though is that if the Mastermind knows who the real Sa Eon is, why is he trying to hurt our Sa Eon? Unless the kidnapper lied or manipulated the story😅
I also feel that our Sa Eon was never at the orphanage. His involvement is solely related to the switch. Since the real Sa Eon saw our guy looking at him while the grandfather was drowning him, his sick mind may have twisted the memory to make it look like it was our Sa Eon's fault he was exiled?
In Ah didn't tell HJ about the murder. Her ick on SE is that he isn't the real son and has some sinister secret that even her dad is afraid of. . The DNA test was sent to her anonymously by her father (chairman Hong didn't confirm it during the confrontation but he looked super guilty when she accused him).
Sa Eon didn't receive the video. When SE came to the office, Park coincidentally was able to figure out the kidnapper's location to that address. (In ep 7 it was mentioned that they can track the kidnapper's location by using 406's phone)- it was Park who sent SE to the house on that day.
Park being a fan of Sang U is interesting ngl. I mean the way he reacted was a good reminder that people have many layers. So far we've only seen Park's "mini Sa Eon" persona and his almost childish competition with Chief Kang. What if there's more to it?
Technically speaking, if Sa Eon is being targeted for the kids' disappearance. Sang Wu might have a target on his back too may be? He was the one who told the kids about the house but he was also the only one who survived (i'm assuming he only told the missing kids about the place). The mastermind is out for blood and might resent the fact that SU survived? So he might be monitoring SU's moves? Since SU is very open in his YT page. Perhaps like you said, the mastermind started to become more bold after he found out that SU will be working at the station?
Mama Baek is definitely going to get entangled soon! She's frustrated by her dumb husband and she probably knows that hoping our SE to help them seems to be getting less likely based on his actions so perhaps she'll just forget about the presidency election and be there for her son instead🤷♀️

It is a possibility though isn't it? Even the mastermind is beginning to panic now that they are exposed (sort of).
