She deliberately pushed him away when he was 18 because she knew it was wrong to make him like "her" since that was never her intension.
I saw someone saying the atypical family is wayyy more better than this... I'm planning to watch only one of these…
Both are great in their own way honestly.
With Atypical family, the characters are more unique in the sense that they all are grey. Nobody is shiny and "green". If you are into superheroes and disfunctional families (but not melodramatic/ not exaggerated) - you will probably like Atypical family.
The leads' pursuit to romance is also quite atypical compared to your usual romcoms.
Number of episodes: 12 episodes and i think it's finishing next week if i'm not mistaken.
With Lovely Runner, it's part angsty/ part (insanely) romantic and the main characters will steal your heart if you are into green flag characters (ngl even most of the other characters were great). If you like timetravel, this is a great watch and the 2000s nostalgia adds to it. OST is amazing as well🙊 The only thing though is you might notice there are a lot of thropes used but tbh the writer did a pretty great job incorporating them in such a way that it's not boring.
You can't really compare both dramas tbh since they are quite different (eventhough both leads do experience time travel). Just remember that both are fantasy so give them a chance with kind eyes - don't take them too seriously!

The story line is really good if you are into timetravel. The nostalgia from the early 2000s is also highly contagious specially if you are in the 30s-40s age range :)
