Yes, this is a very good observation in hindsight.
Tell me about it - so many theories were wasted on poor White...but honestly i'd rather if he was something more. His reality is just too cruel. And he was soooo young (barely 18)

Looking back at the poster now makes me wonder why did I ever suspect that White was upto something tooπŸ€¦β€β™€οΈπŸ€¦β€β™€οΈπŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

Only White's and Non's photos do not have blood stains on them. Quite sneaky of BOC to add this easter eggπŸ™ŠπŸ™ŠπŸ™Š

To be very honest, i liked this series very much till the episode 10, everything was so perfect story, directly,…
But did Phee, Jin, and Tee leave? It's implied that they got trapped in the hallucinations and never left.

Even if they survived:
Tee got the worst ending possible from the gang. He has to LIVE with the fact that HE KILLED HIS WHITE- the boy he tried so hard to protect. His only light and saviour. It was also Tee's fault that White was there in the first place since White wanted to skip the trip. Death would have been a blessing to Tee in comparison.

Phee will have to live with the fact that he killed New (Phee was strongly against killing and even apologized before pulling the trigger) and also at least indirectly responsible for the other deaths.

I will not speak for Jin because I'm not too sure how he would react to all of this in the future. He too probably would be traumatized but it's hard to say since Jin's idea of remorse was abit ambiguous to begin with.

Think it's to do with White's faith/ misunderstanding that PheeJin did happen in the end / open endings in general πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

White was Tee's only weakness. We already knew that Tee wasn't afraid to die (at least if he can protect White)…
Exactly. As much hate Phee gets, he was the most rational one in the end.

New was just fueled by regret and self pity.

What he did to Fluke was absolutely horrifying if Fluke was expected to live (poetic justice in a truly demented way).

summary:Jin, phee and tee are the ones who make it out alive… white, tan, top, fluke and por are shown dead.…
You need to use the spoiler button (i've already seen it but there's obviously going to be fans who haven't yet)

I have a genuine question: What is so confusing about the plot?I read so many comments claiming DFF is confusing…
White's fear represents the fears/ insecurities that a normal teenager would have IMO. Tee has a jealous streak so White may fear that Tee doesn't trust him. The disfigurement/ blemishes is every teen's fear.

It's symbolism to emphasize the fact that White didn't belong there. Even his hallucinations were pretty innocent compared to the others.

This is also the reason why I no longer feel that sympathetic towards New. New wasn't an angel avenging his brother. He too messed up and was going this far because he felt guilty AND sorry for himself. He also knew that his parents felt guilty about the way they treated Non and his dad's death was mostly New's fault more than the others (even if the dad's justification was unfair)

Punishing the bullies is one thing (even if his methods were too extreme) but putting White in danger for no reason was just a BS move. New knew White was innocent and New was lucid when he planted the weapons so the least he could have done was to move White out of harm's way. But he didn't.

But why did this happen to white?
White was Tee's only weakness. We already knew that Tee wasn't afraid to die (at least if he can protect White) and we also know that Tee doesn't really have anything to lose.

White was his world. So hurting White was the only way to punish Tee. To make Tee truly understand New's pain was to live in a world where HE killed his beloved White.

Ngl, if Phee wasn't hallucinating at the end, I wouldn't be surprised if Tee really ended up going mad calling out for his White just like in the hallucination.

Ohhh so White's fear was related to STDs? I thought it was just that his fear was that Tee wouldn't trust him…
Thats what i feel too. His fear gives more symbolism too to emphasize the fact that White didn't belong there.

His fears were normal innocent youthful fears compared to the nightmare fest the others had

Sigh. What a tiresome conclusion. Well, hopefully Phee was right; I cannot stomach the thought of a world where…
My take on White's situation was that his fears were normal teenage stuff -fear that his bf didn't trust him because we saw Tee had a jealous streak and a fear of disfigurement/ blemishes just like any average kid his age.

His fear represented just how innocent White was compared to the others. How he really didn't belong there.

The answer to that would be its either Phee's dream or Jin's dream. IF they did manage to get out it still doesn't…
Considering the fact that Jin was armed with a pair of scissors and Tee subconsciously knew he killed White (and he is New's main target), it's hard to believe J and Tee would make it tbh.

Phee is different since while New is disgusted by him, P is small fry to him compared to Jin and Tee

y'all r trippin, everyone deserved to die except white and the uncle. fluke, although he did not do anything,…
New killed White the second he left the knife near Tee and didn't even bother to move White to a safer location. He saw White and Tee fighting in their dreams...if he cared about White at least a little bit, he would have at least moved the poor kid away seeing as New was Lucid when he planted the weapons.

The uncle's death - this is only reaching but perhaps New blamed the uncle for being silent about Non's dissapearance?
The uncle must have been the one who drove all of them to the forest on the last day of Non's shoot so the uncle too would have been questioned by the police? Perhaps Por's parents paid him to stay silent. This lie was the main reason Non's case fell so New may feel it's the uncle's fault too.
(In reality we don't really know if the uncle actually knew about Non's disappearance or if he was even the one who drove them there that day/ besides New felt guilty about the uncle's death so most likely it was just a psychotic moment for him to protect his plan)

in the bath with Phee(like both said they did) , in the sofa with the teacher just like he exposed Non!
That's true...i think this is the writer's way of telling that eventhough Jin felt bad about the video, he still sticked by his reason (it was Non's fault that Jin was "forced" to make the video). Fluke begged for forgiveness from Ghost Non but Jin never was haunted by this particular type of guilt with Non. Since the drug triggers your fears, i guess Jin really never felt truly guilty about hurting NON specifically.

The teacher was never explained, but i guess deep inside Jin (and Fluke) probably found Mr Keng's disappearance unusual and thought that it was because of the video and felt guilty because at least in Jin's pov, the teacher's faith was collateral damage as the video was only meant to hurt Non.

Phee/Jin/Tee are not dead... The last scene indicates that they are still hallucinating, still trapped...
In a perfect world, the police might come to investigate on the next day. The uncle is somebody who works for Por's dad. The fact that the uncle didn't comeback 24 hours after a routine short trip would definitely alert the locals. Since there is no way to contact the bungalow, i'd like to imagine that Por's parents would have at least sent somebody to check on them on the next day....

As for Jin/ Tee/ Phee- Jin and Tee would most likely be dead (Jin from stabbign himself/ Tee would be killed by New).

New probably would either kill himself/ runaway. Phee I'm not so sure what could happen to him in the end.

Non&Tan in heaven chilling and Pheejin in hell rotting 😘
If the logic behind New going to heaven is because he avenged Non, then Tee has a chance of going to heaven too since he did everything for his dad who didn't even understand his son's sacrifice. Tee was also willing to die to save White (and he would have succeeded too if it wasn't for New).

It's safe to say that New will be chilling with the 😈
