Can anybody explain why was it so wrong for them to break up?

Both AJ and JH were buried in guilt and were willing to sacrifice their own happiness to "protect" the other to an extreme level.
Eventhough Do Han finally told the truth, by this point JH and AJ's relationship was too toxic- they weren't working as a team.

The breakup while rocky was handled quite better than expected. It ended in a good note rather than in a way that could hurt them both. It's just "Good bye for now".

(Just my opinion anyway 🙊)

It's just temporary based on the preview. You can't really have a relationship built on guilt and lies. They need to reboot and start over once they are ready

Turns out AJ really is a princess - she kept her drunk promise to confront the grandfather 💪👑

It's just like what AJ told the grandfather. Everything had gotten so out of control that everybody was making sacrifices for the sake of the other without really solving anything.🙊🙊🙊

They all needed a breather at that point:
-Do Han leaving the country on his own terms
-Ji Han taking a break from his family and everything else that had consumed most of his life
-AJ needs to come to terms with the whole situation with the 2 brothers too and how she nearly lost herself by going through with the whole fake marriage in the first place

The breakup was bittersweet but the relationship ended on a good note - one filled with "may be someday" rather than an ugly dramatic breakup where everybody felt guilty hurting the other.


The time skip may seem cliché and annoying but it is a realistic timeframe for them to heal and move forward with their lives.

Nope, tomorrow is the last episode but looks like it will have a happy ending

Sanpang isn't really that bad...he's just looking out for Qian since he knows first hand how terrible Qian's life has been thus far.

To be fair, Qian was months away from finally getting released from his "parental" role once Lili started college. To SP, Yuan's love is a new burden for Qian to bear with (seeing as at that point Qian didn't have feelings and to them at least it felt wrong because of the whole non existant bro issue).

The distance was a necessary evil in a way for both Q and Y to understand their feelings and change their dynamic but the way it was executed was just too harsh 😅😅

SP is going to get his karmic justice though seeing as he's in the same exact relationship drama with Lili 🤣

The novel ends on a happy note so let's hope for the best!

Seeing the preview...i think it's a combination of both. Yuan has always been by his side so suddenly cutting him off would definitely give Qian "withdrawal" issues. Unconsciously Qian is addicted to Yuan's presence. It's just that he's too confused and probably afraid to truly analyze his feelings. Looking forward to Qian's jealous era- he's finally going to see the light 💡

That certainly would make an interesting twist and explain why she was so calculativng and confident of her plan. She looks quite different from her "before" photo too so who knows what she could have done.


About the funds, they did mention in the latest episodes that Yoon was exceptionally smart and was sponsored by Queens till he was adopted/ arrested

Tell me about it. I can understand being foolish about Mrs Moe but at least with financial investments you'd think they'd do the bare minimum at least for the sake of their shareholders

I guess it's a combination of being under the grandfather's thumb for too long/ mixed priorities and being sorrounded by wolves so even if they are suspicious they keep asking the wrong people to help (like SC's son's dna test/ the matchmaker)🙊🙊🙊

They seem cocky enough to assume that the family may not realize that she changed her name. After all, the ML had repeatedly proven himself as a valuable asset but other than his father in law, aunt in law, and Hae-in, none of the other dum dum Higher Ups ever listened to him. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Hope they pull off something like what they did on Castaway Diva at least- there's no way she did it legally or the grandfather would have said something about it during the daughter's comfrontation

He's been suffering for at least 6 years now😿...Yuan really needs his happy ending now after all his sacrifices. Qian too.

And they are sooo greenflag coded too- they truly don't deserve the hell they've been going through.

Seriously! Qian could have saved himself and Yuan from a lot of misery with just one simple reply 🙊🙊🙊

Gosh tell me about it! I can't wait to see the next couple of episodes but the trailer potion covering this looks so ominous. Ep 8 might be the last light hearted episode before the storm breaks out 🙊🙊🙊🙊

Yuan seems to be well informed about Qian so probably Sangpan and Lili were the ones who actually got majority of his texts and calls.🙊

Qian wasn't replying anyway so like you said, he probably was afraid he might get blocked or freak Qian out even more if he gets too overzelous. The only time you see his true desperation in his texts is when Qian fainted and he had no way of finding out what happened. 😿😿😿

Tell me about it...Qian has no idea what hit him...and poor Sangpan is just as clueless about who actually is in control 😂
