So I was watching Kingdom's (a kpop group with royalty medieval concept) latest comeback Ascension yesterday and I noticed something related to this drama. I mean the whole song and mv's concept are historical korean already, but if you watch the mv till the end, there's a scene where a high rank lady with a bodyguard was admiring the boys who were strolling along the street. And guess who the lady is? It's Yi San's 1st younger sister Chung Yeon! She's dressed up the same as in The Red Sleeve and I think she's the princess as well in the mv. The scene where she appeared was just a short moment though. I'd recommend watching the whole mv because the way they highlight the beauty of historical korea is absolutely enchanting, while also having dark moments such as the palace getting attacked. The king basically had no one but himself to defend his kingdom.
Any way back to the topic, this cameo and detail is very interesting if it's true. What do you think?
That was a satisfying ending for sure. Btw its so funny and illogical how genie(which has become Aejin's personal acc) account went literally from 770K followers to straight up 3. It's like all the followers are only there to look up to genie and when she's exposed not to be her, everyone turned into vicious monsters attacking the acc with hate comments. More than half a million people.
That aside, I love how Aejin has found herself and gave zero fuck about all the people hating in her. As long as she has her boyfriend, bestfriend and friend on her side. It has been a ride, goodbye Shadow Beauty!
So Haneul basically already knows that Aejin is Genie.. Things are looking bad for Aejin.. I'm also curious about Mi Jin. How can her face look exactly like Genie? Has something happened in the oast?
Wait so Genie came to life?!! My theory is that the real Genie "Sun Mi Jin" is there all along, and somehow Aejin took her face as an inspiration to make the famous insta personality Genie. In the preview, it looks like Mi Jin, Aejin and the other students form a group to plot something against Haneul?? Idk since I haven't read the actual webtoon. However I'm looking forward to the next episode because this drama is getting really interesting.
It's interesting how different Ae Jin and Ha Neul treat their mothers. At this point it seems like Ha Neul which was supposed to be the bully aka villain, is more likeable than Ae Jin, the protagonist.
