Cat & Mouse (or, "We have Light and K at home".)
I love this show. To me, it is pretty much perfect. I have heard some common criticisms, and the morality/ideology of the series (and probably the webtoon? idk, haven't read it, don't plan to) is certainly... uh...... not anything anyone should espouse in real life. But for me, the show scratches that same perfect itch that "Hannibal" and "Death Note" did -- and, weirdly, kind of the same itch as "Columbo"? If you are someone who enjoys cat-and-mouse crime dramas*, and don't mind super graphic violence in the service of a compelling story (or just for shock value), you will enjoy it.
I am a habitual re-watcher (only of my favorite limited series); and since I watched it for the first time a few weeks ago, I already re-watched it two more times. So overall, I would say: if this show doesn't "click" with you after the first episode or two, probably drop it.** But if the premise, or the sense of humor, or the performances, intrigue you... then you are in for a silly, schlocky, incredibly violent, and just overall, incredible, treat.
*i.e., a show where focus is split between the criminal's and the investigator's p.o.v. usually they will have similar amounts of screen time and narrative focus, as their stories progress in parallel and occasionally intersect. and although the criminal is "objectively" morally depraved, you might find yourself beginning to root for them somewhat. (also, if you ever had a "death note" phase... yeah. basically that in a nutshell. )
**another disclaimer -- if you dislike hapless everyman protagonists (like shinji ikari, or holden caulfield) then lee tang might piss you off to the point that you can't watch the show at all. don't say i didn't warn you.
