I've been trying to finish this drama for 7 years now.. 7 YEARS!!! I'm at episode 16, can't wait to finish this. I've never seen such a boring drama like this one, and I'm normally very easy to please. ;(
I really thought the Japanese soldiers were going to kill Hui Seong because the scene turned slow motion and there was no sound omg, I was already crying
IMO she hinted at giving him a second chance. It was obvious she still loves him, but too hard for her to forgive…
This drama is also one of my favorites! I loved the acting of Bae Soo Bin so much. I understand what you mean, I also thought the youngest sister could be very annoying, especially when she started crying and whining, so sometimes it was very hard for me to watch this drama, because I absolutely hate the sound of crying children. But it does mean that she acted perfectly for her character! I did love her arch when she got involved with Do Hoon and Soon Cheol, the parts were so heart warming and funny.
"You're a jerk and so am I, we shouldn't hurt other nice people." Perfectly said by Yeo Reum to Tae Ha, it summerizes their relationship.
Yeo Reum and Tae Ha definitely deserved each other. Both emotionally immature and indecisive. I was hoping that Yeo Reum realized that she had changed and has grown in relation to her taste and relationships with men, because Ha Jin is so attentive, communicative, mature, patient and caring, everything a woman wants and needs in a man. Ha Jin deserved way better. Definitely was not expecting this ending because in the whole drama she kept leaning to Ha Jin most of the times so I thought she would make up her mind and go to Ha Jin in the end, but Ha Jin was right: he loved her more than she did and he was never happy in the relationship, always anxious. He never dared to fight or argue with her, because he was too afraid he would lose her. She always took his love for granted and he would always be there for her, waiting or make up, even if she was the one who would walk away, but he realized in the end that that's not love. While with Tae Ha, they both fight and they naturally both want to make up with each other in their own stubborn way, yearning for each other. They say opposites attract, but I wouldn't call Yeo Reum and Tae Ha opposites. They are both extremely stubborn, have problems with communicating which causes a lot of misunderstandings and come off as cold, this causes friction between them two but in the end they'll always choose each other. Saying it again: Ha Jin deserved way better, but I'm glad Yeo Reum doesn't have to deal with a mean mother-in-law.
Don't get me wrong, I was actually team Tae Ha, but seriously Ha Jin deserved the best.
