He seems to be the only person in this era without a phone. If he can't make a simple phone call, how can he be…
I know how to read a map, and I would do it if it were the only option. But you said that he obviously has a phone, so why doesn't he use it to make life easier for himself instead of dragging a big bag and a suitcase around the city trying to read a map that he clearly doesn't understand?

Sorry but if he really has a phone and he ´s not using it to make his live and others´ easier then he´s not the sharpest knife in the drawer. I get what you say about simpler old times but if we had had something like a smartphone growing up I´m sure we definitively would have used it.
Why does Tontae always make the contacting thing soooo difficult? Wouldn't it have been easier? 1. To give Victor his home address instead of making him contact him through a hotel? 2. To call Victor —from a public phone, since he seems to be the only one who doesn´t have one of his own— once he arrived in Taiwan instead of walking the streets of Taipei trying to find an address?. (A mention to poor NanKrai, truly thinking that he could somehow contact his "lost" friend in a foreign country by calling all the Taiwanese people he knew)
Chakri is the only reason I can think of for continuing to watch this insufferable display for a certain someone's personal showmanship . Well, him and that cheesy version of the Game of thrones intro.
I thought the same at first, but then I remembered they were already close and that she was abused by many men…
Well, they met because she works at the rehab centre, so she should know better. There is a power imbalance in their relationship. The one with the experience and knowledge should try to keep a strictly professional relationship for the sake of the one who is seeking help and support. I don't care if she's a woman too; it seems to me that she´s taking advantage of her vulnerable state. At the very least, she should have given her a little more time to process the therapeutic experience before jumping on top of her like that.
SeoYeon would have been perfect for MiRang (yes, before anyone says anything, this is just my opinion)... but heart -and what is not the heart- is often foolish.
The only person who really knew of him being a guard is the king so far (and Khanin).
Well, apparently nothing happens in Emmaly without the king knowing about it. Nevertheless, he miss that important piece of information about the only person he trust to protect and bring his grandson from London, where it "never" rains.😝 Also, you don't need to know that he's a guard to realise that he has a problem with the rain. And yet, it seems that no family member or friend recommended therapy or offered him any comfort until Khanin came along with his 'saving kisses'.
