if youre using vpn (thailand, usa, canada, indonesia iirc) it doesnt show up on the search unfortunately but you can still access via direct iqiyi links. here's a thread w all the links !
Does anyone know if the making of videos posted on Youtube are available with English subtitles anywhere (since…
are you watching on the unintentional love story or tving channel? on the series' channel they usually sub the making episodes after a few days to a week, sometimes longer. i think up to ep 8 is subbed though
Someone said here that the director wanted it to be VERY 'PG,' so that's why the kisses were toned down a lot.…
I think it's because Unintentional Love Story is fairly popular in Korea and very beloved by many. The story is cute and fun and the smut isn't exactly plot relevant (except perhaps the scene where Wonyoung starts calling Taejoon hyung lol but it was implied to have happened off screen anyway because he starts calling him hyung in the pajama scene) so perhaps they thought it would be a nice treat for the fans when adapted, while at the same time appealing to the Korean gp, as TVing is fairly mainstream.
ETA: I read this in a lower comment, but I'm actually surprised that more people aren't happy tthat an incredibly large and mainstream network is doing a BL in the first place. Apparently not having the steamiest kisses in a PG-13 show is regressive, but a mainstream network in a country that's known to be very conservative producing a BL isn't progressive lol.
You said it sister! I was also disappointed that the show did not develop the relationship between Kim Dong Hee…
Honestly I do think a lot of it is direction. Gongchan has expressed in interviews that he felt like they could have done more (wrt to affection/skinship), and watching their BTS vlogs none of the actors are by any means uncomfortable with each other-- Gongchan and Seowon especially. Gongchan also read the manhwa in one sitting when he got contacted for the part, and he owns the physical books as well as merch-- I doubt he would have accepted it if he wasn't ready to commit.
Both Seowon and Gongchan have played LGBT roles before. And while I can't speak for Seowon as I havent seen his other works yet, even Gongchan's straight kisses unfortunately do fall into the mannequin curse. Apparently the director's other works also have lackluster kisses. I think the production team wanted to reach a bigger audience, since it's a TVING production and all.
same here, want to watch it so badly! but both sites don't work..
oh! it's not an abbreviation, it's just me smashing random keys because i feel flustered haha. as for the bilibili message, i honestly have no idea. it's working well for me :(
Wish the actors would do some of that when called for.
No literally they were asking Wonyoung to get nonconned so that it would be better that's so fucking strange and out of the blue like ???? (Also people getting on Wonyoung and Taejoon's chemistry... they're fine T_T)
When Gongchan is playing happy, cheerful, joyful scenes it might be hard to tell his acting is poor. Personally…
i agree! i think his acting's really subtle. i actually really like how he acted in the confession scene- he still felt scared and unsure about his feelings and gay panicking a little because this is all very new new to him. i liked how he said it. it felt really real.
