what is going on with this sharply sudden dropping in ratings from 8.5 to 5.7?!?! and it is only the beginning!!!! at least it should be watched first three to four episodes to judge it being bad or not!!!! it is like someone wanting to avenge from the show for being disappointing maybe?!?!?! anyway it could be getting better with the progression of drama and should be given a chance...
I am planning to watch it once being all completed

it is really a torturation only two episodes per week!!😕😕

the ratings remained stable throughout all the show to 8.9 then it dropped sharply at the start mainly for the chaos of mistranslation that happened at the end of episode 12 for the news scene, receiving a massive blind hatred when a lot of bot accounts downvoted the it crazily and made a battle here wronging the drama in a very bad way, in addition to like what you said the last two episodes were unsatisfying for a lot of watchers being a part too for the reason of downrating but though I think the issue of mistranslation still affected greatly the dropping in ratings unfortunately!!
for me it was a completely perfect drama in everything...

the last episode was considered rushed for a lot and like taking us into another show with the sudden argan plot but the drama is only 12 episodes and based on a novel so the events at that time needed more few episodes to be detailed... however I was satisfied with the drama as long it was a happy ending...

it was disappointing for many how he punished himself staying away from her for many months but I was glad that she followed and found him and reunited with him at the end proving that their love is stronger than anything...

yes definitely they deserved to have a happy and satisfying ending especially after all the hardships they went through and was so good to see them living happily like any other couples at the final!!

yes fortunately this is the case surely but just wished to see it getting a fair ratings here as it is deserving to be much more highly rated...

I would say the same definitely that every scene with leads together really making the heart beating so fast with this tension and captivating chemistry!!
so glad to know that you enjoyed as you are right it is one of the greatest shows and I even add it to my list of favorite dramas!!

yes she is doing so greatly to be like what she is supposed to do in the drama when having such terrible mother in law and as you said people are not thinking about the situation of female rightly so criticizing her badly!!!

yes exactly that is how the character of female from a very young age and she had to be like this as having solid facial expressions regarding her frustrating surrounding especially her horrible cheating husband and evil in laws...
the chemistry of leads is so good and outstanding what gave more worthiness for the show!!!!

unfortunately it is right a lot of comments were criticizing the show and the acting of female lead...

it was not a breakup but he left her as punishing himself away from her after knowing that he was related to an accident happened in her childhood to her and her siblings but after knowing where he went away all this period, she followed him to his place in another country to make up for their relationship and at that time he realised that their love was stronger than anything and that they can't live without each other after proving that she is ready to be him wherever he will be... so it was a happy ending for leads

they got married for three years into a loveless arranged marriage from the both sides of their families but no breakups, female was a substitute bride as male was supposed to marry her sister but she ruined away...
there was all the time miscommunication between leads as female was obliged by her mother to stay mute from her childhood due to a misfortune...

when she faced an accident being pushed off the cliff, he went crazy looking for her and after he found her, their relationship changed totally from lifeless marriage into affectionate and deeply love with so great and captivating chemistry of leads... she started to feel more at ease and talking with him with no any barriers between them...

they included the argan plot like that felt watching another show based on the novel but the drama is only being 12 episodes so they added it like that suddenly as could had been more detailed in few more episodes to understand how we reached this fictional country in war settings out of the blue...

the story started so good and promising then the plot became so draggy and it could had been summarized to less than 24 episodes so easily as I lost interest after episode 12... I was expecting it to be much better with a great cast of actors but was a big disappointment with what I had watched that became with progression of story nothing to make it clinging on screen to keep watching till the final!!!

I think the tag of height difference should be added too

these are a bunch of useless and ignorant people wanting to be close minded and hating blindly the drama whatever the case will be seemingly if netflix corrected the mistranslation or not, they won't be satisfied and just spending all the time when it comes to this drama to vilify actors and disparaging the drama brainlessly like avenging for themselves being jealous from the wide success the drama achieved before!!!
this drama is a gem and top notch that will still shining and excelling over all other dramas no matter how much they will try more to spread more hatred and toxicity!!! they need a mental therapy for staying stubborn and bullheaded, clinging on their tough and horribly poor minded!!!

if anybody of these haters will be uttering a single more word talking again about the mistranslation or complaining about any other thing or vilifying the great actors and this masterpiece drama, it will be really so unbearable and I have to block all of them just to keep reading only the beautiful and positive comments here!!!

when the haters started to make this trend of misogyny about yoo yeon seok when it was still aired for something he said ages ago, I couldn't stand still just to say that I am here to enjoy this wonderful show and their captivating chemistry not looking about the background of actors or what they did in the past and that I don't care the bit even if it was true what he said a long time ago as long it was so fantastic and top notch drama and actors are doing an outstanding performance in acting!!!

we got it already the idea of the argan plot being like watching another drama so let's see if next they will invent a new trend of hatred after the controversial of mistransaltion is over now when recently they rectified this huge fault too late better than nothing for making them at least hopefully not bringing the same issue again and again and not keeping the ratings so low!!!!
for just a short scene that was misunderstood and several times it was proved being a mistranslation they rated it 1!!!! what a shame!!!!

if they will say anything else like the last two episodes aren't satisfying that doesn't mean to keep the ratings 1!!! the drama was too much wronged so badly!!!
