kim joon is the villain and perpetrator of all crimes and misdeeds happened in the drama, the one who crushed the kid gun woo was kim joon in the first by accident but gun woo was still alive, so he could have survived by being hospitalized but kim joon was frustrated that the kid saw his face so to not be exposed that he is responsible of this incident, he asked seon yul's father to clean all the traces of the crime, so seon yul's father offered to take the charge of being the culprit as he ran over the kid to be the second time and making sure he is dead to not be a threaten for kim joon to not reach the presidency!!!!! in return kim joon will take care of seon yul while his father kwon ji woong will be arrested!!!!
kim joon was the homewrecker and responsible of all the miseries happening to seon yul and soo hyun...

I only blame soo hyun how she could have forgiven her husband and gave him many second chances only when she knew her sister is the mistress he became gun woo's father for her and she lived separately from him while she should do this from the beginning but her having a kind heart as it was a "short mistake"of him and regretting this, she dealt with this issue struggling as to stay with him reluctantly and confused🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

it is intentional to make it with a huuuge age gap as to portray a forbidden relationship of a married female lead character!!!

japanese dramas is not the first time to cast actors of older woman/younger man with this great age gap when it comes to infidelity and betrayal plot but as you said it is toooo much age difference!!!! and I think this is the larger age gap we can see here for a japenese show!!! 😂🔫🤣 it is obvious there will be an intensive and dark plot here!!!!

the korean version "secret love affair" was amazing though large age gap but less than here surely... it is better if they picked an actor in his 30's cause the male lead is giving a baby face?!?!

yes I liked too her acting in wonderful world, she is so outstanding and playing with realistic and impressive emotions of pain that I could say it is one of her best shows, it doesn't like she came back after 6 years of her last drama when watching her high level and top notch performance!!!!!! she should stay acting and not skip several years for one new drama of hers...

I watched her once in queen of reversals, it was like she never aged and keeping the same amazing presence of hers as top 1 actress!!!

wonderful world having all these mysetries and unknown path the leads will take left a lot of questions in our minds and one of them is what the relationship of nam joo and eun woo will be so I think the major problem for not being a romantic was cause the drama itself is not a romantic genre and the huge unprecedented huge gap, even the way they were behaving it was absolutely clear that they will barely be friends and allies after many encounters...

I was wanting deeply a romance but the wonderful acting and story was dominant over the absence of romance so couldn't forget how realistic the acting was though the lack of romance... but it would have been more wonderful world with even a slight romance...

the rational could have received a criticisme for the age gap and for the kiss scene but not to the same extent as wonderful world before started airing as even the romance was almost certain to not be existent and still having a lot of attacks from people, based on what you remember in the rational life 3 years ago the time of its airing, didn't a lot of "preservative" people were talking against the age gap and like she is in his mother's age like the case of so hyun or it was smoothly going?!?!😂🔫🤣

for those who tninks that a noona or older woman is his in mother's age then 10 yeara age difference make her an older sister not a mom to a younger partner!!!! even let it be more than 10 years I don't care about this fact as long the huge age gap is an important element that only catch my attention to watch asian dramas whatever the ratings are😂🔫🤣

for sure the male lead won't think about a romance as the female lead is the killer of his father certainly!!!! but I was talking from the side of female only why she is not thinking about a new relationship in addition she spent 7 years in jail!!! but if I will talk about the side of male for sure this is about the major problem the crime!!!! he even called her "you are a murderer!!!" so how she is having the right to interfere in his life?!?! so logically speaking the drama is taking another path than romance for these congested soul of male and thirsty to take revenge of the female...😁😁😁

they even parted ways if you don't know at the end after taking revenge from their opponent!!! so be at ease it is a satisfying end!!!! so psychologically speaking this is a rational end for them to be like that after the roller coaster of events😁😁😁

yes the circumstances of a grieved mother with a cheating husband even not through all the show and all the mystery around her she is investigating about the true identity of male are not logical conditions for her to think about a second chance romance especially after she knew about the cheating matter she still clinged over her marriage so she eventually a loyal wife...

yes soo jin is like a friend to him and helping him in his tasks he was doing, even with soo hyun it is the same after a period of time they were allying to bring down their opponent with no touch of romance at all and that had raising the ratings as the relationship between leads was acceptable for watchers!!!!

there is no romance between seon yul and any female character, he is only drowning in revenge and sorrowness, this is all about his character😕😕😕 he is not a character written to have a romantic bond at all with anyone!!!!

some of people hoped to have at least romance with soo jin but to have with soo hyun is so controversial for so many other, but it was an unrequited love, only from soo jin's side but he is considering her a sister and soo hyun she is like his guardian neither more neither less...

soo hyun was his target of revenge at the start so barely they turned to be friends and allies before they were hating each other... so a romance is impossible surely between first leads!!!! and I didn't expected anything like that based on the plot of drama...
