it is good that you like the acting of first male lead at least because you are totally right he is convincing and doing a very high level of amazing acting likewise the female lead who carried the show with him for the best acting ever seen!!!!
the husband is playing a bad character and he is not that serious in the drama cause when a cheating and deceiving with a selfishness person won't be acting honestly and strictly so he is supposed to be like that, I am not defending him cause he is the most abominable person I could ever see!!!!
I against you find the plot is something so interesting and impressive flawlessly and for the characters crying they should do it as how they will express the amount of pain from the schocking facts around them especially soo hyun and seon yul, they had nailed it!!!! and the mother character having alzheimer suddenly is added to make it more melodramatic as it is the type of drama!!!
I hope the end won't be sad to make you satisfied and forgetting what you weren't pleased with it in the show!!!

in fact I only watch a drama when there is a huge age gap, my favorite plot always😂🔫🤣
the leads are hating each other as the female lead killed the father of male lead who is the murderer of female lead's son, it is a story of revenge and mysteries making the leads realizing that being enemies is helpless while they will turn into allies and maybe healing friends when cooperating to bring down their real enemy manipulating them...
at the start the male lead is following the female lead in all her steps scheming plots against her to make her fall in his traps with her family to avenge from the misdeed she done but he regretted that later after knowing the common culprit of all crimes related to them...
the female lead considered herself as the male lead's guardian though hating him but she pitied him losing both of his parents being something mutual between them losing the ones closest to their heart... so she was seeing herself in the same situation as him living a similar deep pain!!!!
turning into a romantic relationship I exclude it regarding 2 episodes left is having a lot to tackle more than adding a hidden romance I guess... I wish to see romance honestly I don't mind🙃🙃🙃
I would say it is a different and outstanding drama from anything I had watched before!!!
