it is okay! obviously as romantically speaking it is only when she is in her female version but male lead was reacting as a friend with the male version of his girlfriend, he only accepted her as a romantic partner when being female but at the same time was caring and cheering up for her in her male version however he loved her surely in both versions saying this at the end...

if she is 35 years and he is 25 years old, that doesn't make her an ajummah regarding her age for him!!! they are adults and mature enough to be paired togther!!! there is even other dramas having more larger age gap than 10 years so this one here is NOT CRINGY and not unprecedented age difference!!
she is 35 years so that doesn't make her 40!! if she is 35 or 40 compared to 25, SHE COULD NEVER BE HIS MOM when it is 10 or 15 years age difference, at least it had to be 20 years and more age gap!!!

I was only watching noona romance dramas but recently I am trying older man/younger women dramas but for age gap around the same here 10 years for the story being interesting with promising shows so even if I am not a lot into the older man/younger women tropes but didn't mind when it is enjoyable drama to watch so you are right people should be focusing more on the content of story instead of hating blindly the fact of the unacceptable age gap in their perspective!!!
