If this was the other way around whereby the male lead is a a broke , jobless , lazyass, emotionally unavailable , lack of commitment in the relationship and still cheated , lied in the female's face and act all sneakily about the cheating situation. The female audience would not let that go . Even if that is the premise or plot of the drama, the ml is supposed to forgive and take her back judging by the previews of ep 6 and 7 . (and he takes care of her and her broke ass family btw!)

The plot is literally them pushing through obstacles to help keep their relationship alive . Most people expected emotional cheating not her straight up cheating how is the male lead supposed to look past that without being spineless

Most kdramas the main leads end up together especially in this one the trailer showed that they worked through it .she literally cheated and lied to his face that nothing happened

I know for a fact that if the ml and the sfl got together it would be much more healthier than the fl and sml

Most people dont care about the cheating its the knowledge of knowing they are going to end up together due to the recycled scripts in kdrama just let them end up with the second leads. Sometimes people are not meant for each other. And because of the tags we were expecting emotional infidelity not straight up physical cheating and then ending up together!

I personally dont care that much about the fl lead cheating . Most people are abhorred about how future events are going to plan out due to redudant kdrama scripts why not make the main lead couple seperate . Sometimes people are just not right for each other, for once can they let the leads end up with different people. I personally think if someone steps out of the relationship just wrap up everything at that point, i dont believe in second chances! And yes she did cheat the second kiss she was literally enjoying to the point of gently holding his shirt! She was coherent and did not pull away for the second kiss.
