This is only his third major role. Many believe she should have started with smaller or more challenging roles…
I agree that market value can play a role in casting, that happens in most industries. But that doesn’t automatically mean the actor lacks ability. At the end of the day, we’ll only know if the casting works once the drama airs. If it doesn’t, viewers can always choose not to continue watching.

I wish it too, in fact you can already see in the comments her fans saying that it's HER drama, and that he will…
Wow… that’s a lot of assumptions before even seeing a single episode 😆 Seo In-guk is talented, sure, but acting isn’t a solo sport. Let’s just wait and see how they actually work together rather than imagining doom for him already.

Love So in Guk's work...JISOO though...idk...I hope she magically transforms into the best actress for this role…
Haha okay… I get being cautious, but the way you’re acting like Jisoo can’t improve even a little before seeing the drama is a bit dramatic 😆 Let’s just wait and see if she surprises us rather than writing her career off already.

Not a hate comment but i think most people will agree that she is wayy overrated for the level of acting/singing/dancing…
I get what you’re saying, and it’s true that comparisons happen a lot in the industry. I think people’s opinions on talent can be subjective, and every actor or idol develops differently. Jisoo’s experience and growth might not be the same as others, but that doesn’t mean she won’t improve or shine in her projects. Personally, I’m curious to see her performance in this drama before making a final judgment.

acting takes not just solely practice, but one should have skills and knowledge as well. And to have that, one…
To destiny amore

I agree that skills and training are important in acting. At the same time, formal education isn’t the only way actors develop those skills. Many actors train privately or learn through on-set experience. Since we don’t really know the full extent of her preparation, I think it’s more reasonable to judge based on the final performance.

I understand what you’re saying about growth and skill. And I think it’s possible to support an artist while still being realistic about their progress. Waiting to judge after the drama airs seems more fair to me.

I get that perspective. At the same time, casting decisions aren’t made randomly. If the production team believed she could carry the role, I’m willing to see why. Different actors grow in different ways, so I’d rather judge based on the actual performance.

I got to know Seo In-guk from Doom at Your Service, and I really like his acting. I hope Jisoo can express herself even more in this drama and prove the people who keep saying she can’t act wrong.
I really hope this drama turns out great...
Acting takes practice, and this is only Jisoo’s third lead role. Judging before it even airs isn’t really fair. I’m just curious to see how it all plays out.
