I kind of see her as red flag sometimes to be honest.....Her perspective towards relationship is very calculative.....What…
I feel she's a highly misunderstood character. She was never with him because of money. Therefore if they start over again, him losing his company wouldn't be a real reason for her to dump him.
Yes, that part was very realistic. Glad they have good friends. Hope they figure out a way soon and face their…
Truly realistic of a strong and independent woman. He's facing his feeling as of ep 9 and I'm happy he's patient and willing to reel her in and make her acknowledges her feelings, too. =)
What do you think FL wants from ML inorder to consider starting over?
He now has/is : - confessed to her - graduated from a top university from the states - co-founder of a company about to go IPO - financially stable and potential for great wealth - cares for her;
Ep 9, The show is getting even better. The internal struggle FL is going through is rather complex and her thought process is quite mature. I'm glad Victoria is cast as FL because her demeanor is very strong and goal oriented with big picture in mind. Even when ML is asking for a start-over, it's not enough for her although she has feelings for him. So looking forward for character growth and change for them to be happily ever after. I'm also so glad they have Wei Tian as a friend . I really enjoy The Interpreter.
He obviously still cares for her. Totally hilarious when he claimed to order soothing tea for "himself" but obviously so she could enjoy as well. The funniest part is when he pretended to receive a call just so that he could change the famous Boiled fish with Spices to no spices. It's like ordering spaghetti with marina sauce but hold the sauce. 🤣🤣 I'm going to enjoy watching this cp battle it out!
Oh, I hope this is good. The director did one of my favorite dramas, You Are My Hero, and the screenwriter worked on another of my favorites, The Negotiator; although, it it was ZTao who shined in it instead of me loving the storyline.
I'm glad CXX is cast as the ML. He looks mature enough to be a real sharp and top notch lawyer, not some baby face boy actor. But to me, what makes his CXX even more believable in the role as Qian Heng is that he carries over the "bad boy" image from his previous two well known roles as Yang Kang in The Legend of the Condor Heroes and the lead in Goodbye My Princess.
Ep 7, You know what I like about FL? That she's so innocent and pure, and always sees the good side in people, especially in ML. On the surface, ML appears cold and money hungry, but after what happened to actress Ms. Bai case and the mess FL got herself in, FL understands why ML warned her about maintaining a distance with the client and controlling risk for self protection. It's nice she prepped him a big meal on her tab as an appreciation token.
So awesome that ML always appears when FL is in need of help - like from the ex-bro in law and high school classmate.
EP 6, ML is finally seeing potential competition with another man in FL's circle. This is good. We need him to feel the heat that she may be "taken" away -- and he'll lose his sleep, literally. =) So funny when FL raised her arm in a swearing motion that she's nothing of what he accused her.

What are the nuances she's looking for?
