Yeah, poor XW. While she’s doing nice things for ZZ out of love, XW is doing the same gestures for her (out of love) in secret. So angsty and quaint to witness. Yet XW didn’t utter a word of it when he knew she was into ZZ, because he didn’t want to force his feelings on her. I love XW. He’s so misunderstood sometimes when people only look on the surface.

I also really enjoyed Destined. I’m sorry that you feel it got butchered. That’s mainly why I don’t read the novels/original sources before watching the adaptations incase there are major differences and changes.

Not at the time when she decided to not pursue ZZ anymore. She let him go out of what she believes is due to love for she doesn’t want to ruin his future. I don’t know if she ever realized it’s admiration-driven love she had for him. But some viewers feel that’s why she was drawn to him, including me. I don’t remember the exact episode but around mid-30’s, she admitted to ZZ that she liked XW.

I see some of us are still camping out here whether it be enjoying the aftermath or nursing our withdrawal. It’s a nice feeling when it’s a great group to share the experience with, and I have to say, 99.9% of the time, this SoKP forum is a wonderful place. I hope it remains a friendly and peaceful platform, free of haters and inciters.

Yes, I thought about how much ZJW is missing out because of his problem with the CCP. It's a shame because it would be tough for him to save his career now in Cdrama-land given what we have seen with other banned/blacklisted performers in the industry. It's very sad indeed.
