As you suggested it's the brother, I'm also placing my chips the hooded person is him since such a character is listed in the cast. Just have to wait for the drama to "reveal" him to us now.
I strongly believe CCY was the young student who ate daily at NHS's mom store many years ago. That's why the first time he enjoyed NHS's side dishes, it tasted familiar to him and even brought him to tears. It was comfort; food for the soul . All that goodness of a semblance of family and warmth he once experienced from NHS's mom while he was studying through many nights.
The writer and director are making everything full circle for us. Can't wait to see how everyone else is linked.
Bang Sua is so childish!!She needs to get her act togetherAnyway I'm so in love with this drama (✿^‿^)Can't…
Bang Sua is a psycho. People like her blames all their shortcoming and failure in life on others - traits of a psychopath. It doesn't help that her mom enables her negative tendencies.
That's when I know a show is awesome! I rarely get moved by a drama, but when one does, I know it's gem in the making. The nice thing is CCiR generates big laughs as well!
Yes, I remember this scene but didn't know it was "the brother" since his character hasn't been named/introduced to us verbally. As mentioned above, I couldn't tell their faces apart so in ep 3, I thought the hooded person was Seon Jae when the face was shown in the dark alley. Then in ep 4, I thought it was the hockey player when the hooded person appeared again, 'cuz once again, I can't tell their faces apart.😂
What ep was he in prior to 4? Gosh, I’m so bad with faces. I hate to say this but sometimes I can’t differentiate some Asian actors/actresses in the SAME show. I didn’t even skip so what did I miss?
You bet FL is a first class actress. I felt her frustration and anger in ep 4 for what happened to her kid. Yes, ep 4 is heavy. As much as I laughed in 2&3, I came close to crying a couple of times in 4, and ended the episode with a sense of relief and rightness . This series is quite something for bearing the power to draw out multiple strong feelings.
Whose face was shown at the convenient store with the black hood? I rewinded so many times and still couldn’t make out whether it’s the hockey player, the lawyer’s kid, or a NEW face not seen until ep 4.
Once again, I laughed like a lunatic throughout ep 3!!! So therapeutic to watch this series!! I seriously haven’t laughed this hard since Business Proposal.
I'm up to ep 2 and it's such an amazing series! I love Jung Kyung Ho and he's awesome in here. There are so many funny scenes especially in ep 2 that I laughed so much. I can't wait for these two to hook up. They are so cute in their own way. So glad there's something nice to look forward to on the weekend now. All the recent C-drama and Kdrama series are just so lackluster.
Go watch this now if you're debating whether to start. Ignore all the negative comments about the age difference or how FL looks. I highly recommend this show!
Alas! Once again I clapped like a lunatic as if I’m part of his posse but off-screen when Prince Zheng made a bullseye. Are you kidding me ?! How much sexier can Bai Jing Ting be masking as a weakling with hidden skills?!
Episode 4: Me with my flow-chart on character relationships and notes on all the districts. *coughs* Provinces,…
Hahaha you notice this too?! 10 minutes into ep 1, I was like… hmm yup borrowed idea from “districts” story. It works out nicely though. I still enjoy the show immensely. 😀
I just finished all 6 available episodes. I simply can't praise enough how amazing this light-hearted comedy/romance drama is. I love Bai Jing Ting, so it's a treat for me. What's surprising is the FL being so adorable! I have never seen her work before but will certainly be on the look out for her going forward. Bai Jing Ting and Tian Xi Wei are nicely paired here. I love EVERYTHING about the show. Even the music department is doing a wonderful job! I will be chasing this piece daily!
Finally, something to watch! Really hope this drama is going to be a good one. Timmy did a great job in City of Streamer and I’m dying to see him outperform again!
Let it be heard here, loud and clear, that Immortal Samsara is my favorite xanxia; and I have watched or tried watching all the popular xanxia’s out there.
Ultimately, I strongly believe Cheng Yi and Yang Zi created the grand magic and lit the screen.

I love their chemistry!!
