So far, Ying Deng, the lamp lady, is the only living villain in the drama up to this point. To me, she's a small fry, and just a blip in the main story. There's Ao Xuan, and he's no biggie either. Who do you think is the main villain or maybe there isn't one? The drama may follow an artifact-hunting and case-solving structure in which minor antagonists are presented throughout the journey. Thoughts?
You noticed this too!!! It is so sweet and she’s totally oblivious 😂
At the moment, she's oblivious to almost all things related to romance. She even misinterprets Yu Mo fancying Chiang Chen. I suppose there's bliss in oblivion in her case . It's a contributor to her happy and outgoing personality.
I'm up to ep 11, and damn I knew I can't stand angst. So, can someone pls tell me for how long will YD continue…
Throughout the entire time in the Divine Realm, YY never verbalized to YD how much he cared for her, so she remained in the dark about his true feelings. She did entered his dream and saw his wish to be with her and he did kiss her in his sub-conscience to indicate his feeling, just not vocalizing it. The Divine Realm arc ends in ep 18, if I remember correctly.
Regardless of their differences over YD, I have to admit TZ and YM have a nice partnership in solving the latest case. They are so in sync and don’t let “YD-issue” gets in the way.
I had to laugh at the part where YM can’t break the spell to Pei Lou’s secret chamber, and requires TZ to do so. TZ flaunts and taunts “Out of my way so a mere mortal can break the seal.” 😛
TZ has a great level of awareness, including concerning YD. When YD is in lotus form, TZ makes sure she’s safe at all time: placing her on the roof, snatching her to avoid Pei Lou’s hit, and catching her post explosion. So adorable how he cups the lotus with gentleness while talking to it.
the 'falling' is REALLY slow at this rate we at ep 27 and YY 'mission' has not started nor the lovers story in…
So far, no one knows about the third arc. Is it in the demon world or back in heaven? From trailers, there's no indication of any long time spent in the demon world. But..whatever, I take whatever "falling" the author/director gives as long as it's yummy and ultra sweet. I'm a romantic at heart.
I agree Yang Zi is very good in here. She owns YD. I really can't think of another actress who can portrays YD…
Yup, Beautiful Bai has no shame in claiming her beauty and charms. =).
I love YY, and now that we're seeing more of TZ, he's winning me over big time, too!! Sighhh, is this what it feels like to love two men at the same time?! =P
TZ isn't letting YD go ever unless she's in jeopardy.
He tells her to leave when his sect's leader punishes him incase she's being exposed. After he redeems himself and she's no longer at risk, he re-binds her to him again, going back on his words!!! Poor fellow doesn't realize he likes having her presence -- a big telling sign of him falling!!
This would make most sense. After all, she retained her memory and was the curator of artifacts, so she may have knowledge on how to re-cultivate or joined a sect similar to TZ's sect.
Hehehe. He sure did have an attitude there. I like that he didn't feel inferior or threatened by Yu Mo being close to YD. He was all nonchalant then said, "so you're that distant cousin or dirty black fish? =)
I love episodes 26 & 27 so much. So many loving and funny scenes between TZ and YD. So funny to see their bickering…
I agree Yang Zi is very good in here. She owns YD. I really can't think of another actress who can portrays YD as well as YZ here. I couldn't stop laughing on how she acts the part TZ puts the Silence Spell on YD and she had to fight for speech.
As for Cheng Yi, needless to say, he's amazing here!
