Call me a romantic, but I like the idea that when Changge and LeYan was in town in their young days, they had their fortune read for fun about their future husband. Changge was told that because of where her facial mole is, she is destined to do great things in life and that she would one day meet someone with a mole on his face. If she ends up with this person, then it will be the greatest love of all - with prosperity and happiness trickling down multi-generations.

A nice add-on for Old Khan.

This is why Ah Sun loves his woman so much. He knows her very well; he understands what she's trying to do here.

When Ah Sun visits Old Khan, he can see happiness in the old man's eyes, and all his anger with life is gone. It's replaced with a sense of calmness and contentment. Of course, Old Khan is a proud man afterall, and wouldn't openly show everyone his new demeanor, so he puts on an act once in a while.

I also find the it sounds like her voice. But with modern technology, it may be voice matching technique.

It’s like why feed a baby $100/gram truffle and caviar if they don’t know how to appreciate fine things. Not only will they not enjoy it, they actually hate it and complain . Regular mushroom and chicken eggs will do for them. Otherwise, you’ll just be wasting the “beautiful things” that you could have had more to yourself. =)

Same here.  I'd be happy with some kind of epilogue/special episode(s): 1, 2 or 3 episodes.

We'll see their kids running around. Ah'Sun is now  Khan of Eastern Khaganate. She'er is now Khan of  Western Khaganate, and he and Ah'Sun have mended their relationship and are on brotherly term. Old Khan can now walk and talk, and we see him teaching Ah'Sun's kids how to roast mutton. He also treats She'er much better when She'er comes to visit Ah' Sun's campsite. Mu Jin and the rest of the Eagle division generals are also living there happily.  There is no more war.

Hao Du is now a general, only 1 level under Li Jing.  It's announced that when Li Jin retires in a month, Hou Du will be Minister of War.  Le Yan has funded weaving and embroidering schools throughout many cities to help women with vocational skills and make a living.  Although she's a princess, she's learned how to cook Hao Du's favorite dishes so that she can surprise him sometimes.

Shiba and Xu Feng have established the largest merchant/trade business in ShuoZhou, Yunian and Old Qin are also there in the same household.   Yunian is now a top martial artist for her age with Situ Lang Lang as her master.  Dr. Sun also passes on his medicinal knowledge to her since she shows signs of high intelligence at a young age.

Shu Yu is still single and dedicates his life to bring glory to the Tang dynasty.  

Zhen Zhu is now a beautiful princess and her people love her.  She looks up to Chang ge and aspires to be like her.  Chang ge instructs her on military strategy and convinces Situ Lang Lang to be her martial arts master, too.

Every year, in the summertime, they all go to Ah Sun's and Changge's campsite in the grassland for a week for reunion.  In the wintertime, they all meet up in Chang'An, hosted by Leyan and Hao Du.

Each couple has 2 kids. All six are close in age and get along very well.  They always look after each other's back especially when anyone gets in trouble with his/her parents for being mischievous. GeSun's kids would teach them how to shot with bow and arrows while riding a horse. Haoyan's boy would teach them his latest sword skills, and Haoyan girl shows the other girls how to embroider bunnies with green eyes. Shiba/Xu Feng's kids bring all kind of delicious sweets and snacks from different part of the country to share.

Changge sets up sacred plaques for Ah Dou and Mimi. She visits them on special occasions.  Mujin adopts Buzen as a younger brother, and they visit Mimi together. Le Yan also visits Xiao Wu's burial site with a lot of bowls of rice.

I think I'll be happy with something like this. =)

As for the ending, in my heart, I know they are happy and together. They are away from all the craziness and living a quiet life in the countryside because that's what Changge wanted. I also know that if the Tang dynasty is under attack, Changge will come out of "retirement" to fight for her people, and where ever she goes, Ah'Sun will be there with her; just like if Ah' Sun's people need help, she will also be there for him.

Just so happy that the series is getting the attention it rightfully deserves.

Another great FMV! Love how you sync the music with effects and smooth transitioning. I also love the sepia tone and old film texturizing. I've seen a lot of Gesun/TLB FMV's over the month on different platforms, and you're one of the better creators out there in my view. You have massive creative talent and it's nice you're sharing your works with us TLB fans. I added this one to my library, too. =)

Hope you recover soon because I haven't. I've come to accept that it's ok if I don't move on/can't move on/not making effort to move.

I give up on over-scrolling sometimes when the forum gets very active. Comments get lost. Just start a new thread =) instead of fishing and searching for old comments.
