Because without any of those events having had happened, he wouldn't have forced kissed or be so bold in the way he treated her now.

LRL plays Shen Yi Yang according to the cast list. He's listed as the 3rd person on MDL. So far, we don't have any information on him and I'm not a novel reader. I don't think he's the doctor because Cen Jin's mom referred to the doctor as Mr. Lu, who's also on the cast list.

I think later. As of ep 5, I believe she doesn't have romantic feelings for him, but only sees him as a younger brother. And I like it this way because otherwise it would go against her personal values. Her ex cheated on her while still married to her, so I don't think it's in her to like another person while still tangled with someone else as this was what her ex did to her.

After finishing 5 eps, I think she started to develop feelings for Li Wu back in 2016 before they separated. But because he was still young, and she herself recently got divorced, she probably didn't want to distract him from his study and veered him off his college path. Not to mention, she probably thought he was infatuated with her because she helped him so much, and simply misplaced his gratitude as love. Thus, she ended their relationship and communication so he'd stay focus and go abroad.

I hope it's another guy who chases Cen Jin because this means she picks Li Wu for love, not because she's "leftover" or has no other options in the romance dept.

Same here. But it's totally giving me 90's vibe, and I'm into classics from era. We're talking Bad boy, motorcycle, gangster, triad, innocent girl, forbidden love...

No wonder I'm enjoying this drama. It's directed by the same person who did Amidst a Snowstorm of Love which I rated a 10/10 (not often) and Someday or One Day.

I think this drama works with Michelle cast as Cen Jin who's supposedly 11 years older than Li Wu. It's because the public has seen her before in a similar role as the well known Xiao Long Nu in Jing Yong's famous The Return of the Condor Heroes in which her character was also older than Yang Guo, and considered a taboo in Wuxia society.

Whoever cast her is a genius because with another actress, most people would find this genre distasteful.

I'm actually enjoying the drama.

It showed how he met his business partner and buddy Cheng Rui.

Cheng Rui is such a likeable character. 😊

This drama is surprisingly VERY watchable. I look forward to new episodes.

I’m so worried for YT. I’m so stressed out watching this, thinking any moment now, he’s going to get caught.

The first human the earth fiend ate is the determinant factor in who will become its lifelong blood bag because the blood bag has to be in the same heritage line as the fiend's first victim. e.g Ms Lin ate a miner named Li, and she later adopted Lin Ling who I'm pretty sure is Li's relative. The fiend just needs to drink blood from the blood bag thereafter to continue living healthily.

It’s probably to make sure the earth fiend can live for a long time. They are most likely dependent on a specific type of human genes and blood which is why I believe Lin Ling is Ms. Lin’s blood sac. Ling’s forced to eat rare red meat for blood and protein generation, and milk, all to keep her healthy. She’s now being paired with the doctor, so I think Ms. Lin probably wants them to make babies for future “ sustenance/blood sac.” In ep1, regarding Gou Ya, ms. Lin said “ so hard to locate his blood sac” — this means it’s something hard to find.

I wonder how ML is going to punish Ms. Du when he's back home. He's obviously aware now she's up to no good regarding FL.

It's ok, but if you're into aliens, monsters, fantasy, body-hosting, supernatural, that sort of idea, this may be interesting. I love Fated Hearts!

So, I think the original Ms. Lin must be a family's friend, but her body has since been overtaken by the Earth Fiend's queen or boss.
