I agree the missing component is a healthy dose of their screen time together. I wonder if this mishap is largely due to scheduling conflict as they were both busy shooting other dramas during 2023-2024. This should also explain why they are both dubbed.

I think FuGui and QingTong are in love, but he's not good at expressing himself since he's been suppressing his emotions his entire life. As for QingTong, she's extremely understanding, and doesn't want to overstep her boundary if there's no clear signal from FuGui that he loves her.

SaB is entertaining. I wake up everyday looking forward to catching the daily episodes. To me, it's better than the other 2-3 currently airing Cdramas. I adore Cheng Yi and Li Yi Tong. BUUUUUTTTT....why does it feel like something is missing?! Sigh...
