This story feel like a fairytale story with Theo being the innocent person learning about life and love. A coming of age story starting with losing his grandmother and reconnect with Akk then meeting 4 people that gonna give him different lessons.
What with Netflix and their obsession with dark drama... Thank good we still have domestic broadcaster that give out not just dark drama but also comfort dramas.
I saw a discussion (in the comments section of another series) where someone was kind of throwing shade at this…
Just like Aof said himself talking about the hot pot scene in ep 9 with Pat, Pran, Pa, and Ink a coming out scene with the siblings talking about it in a simple way and that it should be normal now.
Ps. I am glad for this and Bad buddy showing that BL series moving in new direction changing the formula saying we can be more than the what you think.
I find Yok and Gram seems very passionate people finding happiness in the small things despite everything against them. They show that you do not need money or power, but the love for people around you is enough to make you happy being alive.
Can I just say that I have no idea how Black's gonna fit in with the gang after he heals. Because White had interacted…
We need Black back so all the question we have on him can be answered since now all we know about him is from what other people have said, but we do not know who he is as a person.
Just finished watching Bad Buddy. And it was so good!! From the story to the acting and production...ON POINT!!…
Ohm asked this question Why Pran apologized when he was in reaction video with the director and his friends. Aof the director answered it is about friendship and Pran feel bad for lying to Wai. When they did workshop they made the story that Pran and Wai become close friend when he transferred school as Wai helped him feeling better.
So this is some of what Wai was thinking; - Why did you not tell me, I am your friend. - Why him? The enemy. He even punched me in the past. How can you date him. It was a moment of anger and impatient on Wai side, but we sees him later mellowed down and accept Pat.
Sean is clearly blinded by hate to think rational and is looking for momentarily gain. There is no question that his feeling is understandable, but also a destructive path he is going.
White asking question and debate on what the gang is doing is like writer also is questioning how far is too far, and is the things they are doing the right thing seeing on morally standpoint. I think we are taking White for granted as I think he is smart picking up the gang mindset as he himself is changing and learning from them. He clearly understand them and therefor care as he have become attached to them more than he realize.
So I suppose there is three outcome with the studying in France story line. 1. They goes together. 2. He goes alone and they have a long distance relationship. 3. He do not go.
I was reading people was wanting Wai and Korn to be together. But I also like that they become best friends. I find it nice that we got straight people in the drama representing all walk of shade.
If you look at the package BB is another romantic comedy, but when you look at the inside it is a fresh take on romantic comedy using old tropes in new twists. Pat and Pran also is written as real people with consistent character traits that is allowed to react as who they are, as writer never use lazy tropes to make them react out of character. It is very clear to me that writer loves this two that shine in the script. To me that is what is important to a romantic comedy; first is the characters, then the romance and chemistry. A writer that knows this also knows how to use the genre to their advances. Romantic comedy is not easy to writer as what it seems like.
I think I'm that lone guy who doesn't get it. I thought this was one of the best things I've ever seen up to Ep…
I understand your point. But wanted to say something Aof said in one of his recap video about Wai. He comment that he wish he could include more about how Wai and Pran got to know each other, but he said they in their workshop had made the story that after Pran transferred school he got close to Wai he was an important friend in those years before meeting Pat again, therefor Pran feel guilty when he had to lie to Wai about his relationship with Pat.
Cute ending….they didn’thave to ever be friends but it would have been more realistic for the parents to just…
I think the moment Pat father drank the liqueur from Pran and Pran mother gave Pran the guitar and when she smile hearing them from Pran room was a quite accept for their relationship. I think those action from the parents speak volum of how they understood that they have no right to interfere in what their boys do as they are adult. A big step to maybe a conversation down the line.
So this is some of what Wai was thinking;
- Why did you not tell me, I am your friend.
- Why him? The enemy. He even punched me in the past. How can you date him.
It was a moment of anger and impatient on Wai side, but we sees him later mellowed down and accept Pat.
Ohm; No matter how much you bid, you can`t buy it. It´s sentimental value.
I can´t how Ohm understand what Pran means to Nanon,
