I'm Black American and my mom spanked me a lot. It's my culture too. There's nothing wrong with a spanking. But a grown man hitting a young girl in the face repeatedly is different. Especially like you mentioned, she's already making good grades and being a good kid, all things considered.

That's just my opinion.

I don't like how they lowkey glossed over domestic violence. It was made to seem not that serious...like your dad physically abuses you oh well that's life just move out and everything is good. It would've been nice to see her father have more consequences and that kind of thing be condemned more.

I've watched so many romance dramas with all the lovey dovey scenes, kissing and skinship etc. But somehow the love story in My Mister feels even stronger than anything else even though technically it's not a romance drama. It makes you believe in true love....i know that's cheesy but it's true.

Girl....Not me liking the female doctor more than Sol-i. - And it's not because she's "prettier" either. Her personality is very bright and funny and not forced.

Colorism/racism runs rampant towards south asians. Even the "fair skin" praising comments in a lot of dramas give me an icky feeling.

Plus he's severely depressed and fighting for his life haha

It's even worse because she looks to be in her 30's....

Am I the only one who finds this female lead incredibly annoying? I feel like she's trying to act like Kotoko from Mischievous Kiss and it's just not working

I could never be friends with someone who rejected me how do people do it. I have way too much pride. I like to think after the events of the drama Seojun would pull back and do his own thing and stop being a third wheel. That's what bothered me the most about him, he lacked pride.

I love how the Japanese aren't afraid to push the envelope. This was awesome and super fun.

Can't wait for Season 2.

And Kuina would be jealous of Arisu/Usagi relationship and try to "sabotage" them with her bitter one-sided love. Lmao.

So if you don't give this drama a 10/10 you're a salty 2ML stan? Got it. Maybe some people just didn't think the drama was good irregardless of ships? Let's not guilt trip people. It's not that serious.

I hate how the one girl they bring in after 2 years that is interested in Seojun is a self absorbed b*tch like was it so hard to bring on a nice normal girl for him??

That was one of the few things in this ep I liked. They were cute in high school but it makes it seem a little more realistic tbh
