The movie was a very high production, amazing acting from Ikematsu and Suda, the ending definitely left questions and was interesting BUT there were a lot of recycled tricks that we've already seen in the Death Note series so it was a little predictable and had nothing really twisty or mindblowing.
I'm usually all for Japanese doramas but I felt the Korean version is far superior. This one was enjoyable but the main actor Nakajima's performance was once again bland and the side characters backstories and characterizations were lacking majorly in this J version.
Japan please stop. I love Japanese films but Fukushi really can't act. Get him out of both Donten and Bleach. And while you're at it please fire Oguri Shun for Gintama.
I hate KDramas. I tried many but none worked. I'm defo a J-drama fan at heart. They're entertaining, ridiculous, the actors are hot, the stories are great. I don't see any of that in K Drama personally. Thanks for making this post!
I think you gave a nice variety of JDramas here. Many that I've watched and seriously loved. I hope more people stop watching those god awful KDramas (jokes) and switch to the true drama master = JDRAMAS! MWAHAHAHA xD
I've seen a LOT Of Yamada's stuff and I can still not get enough! He really is an amazing actor and he always picks and does amazing and interesting roles <3 He's hilarious and great in RL too xD
Loved this film but for the love of god will someone stop giving Kyoko acting jobs?! she CAN'T act! I still not seen her in ANYTHING where she's acted decently, including this film! She was SO cringy in this AND Second Love AND need I list the rest?!
This bored me to death T_T but also enraged me so much. The way things play out actually disgust me and cos no one fights against what's happening to them disgusts me too.
I really wanted to enjoy this cos of Ayase <3
I enjoyed it all the way up to the point that they actually believed in the reincarnation bs and that it was the motive. It was a bit too far fetched when everything else was being more realistic (besides the ballet jumps xD)
One of the best produced and visually beautiful Japanese films! I love Japanese films but it's been a while since I've seen one been produced and directed and coloured so perfectly.
I am SO confused by that ending... Can anyone explain why there were 2 and not 3 at the end?
Ah that makes sense! I thought because he'd attacked someone that he wasn't able to go back cos he was no longer like pure... that makes sense - thank you!
The Doubutsu rangers popped up in this! OMG their part was NICE! I am excited for the new series. The concept/story of this movie was good too!! Also JunJun <3
KDramas are all the same plot lines and repetitive too.
JDramas for LIFE!
I really wanted to enjoy this cos of Ayase <3
