UPDATE! I finished it! It was an absolute mess! Episodes 11 to 15 were almost gold (except for the one VERY big problem that about 20 plot points that should’ve been spread evenly and well timed over 18 or so episodes were shoved into these 4 ones!) but the other 10ish episodes were absolute trash. Plot holes, illogical moments, plotlessness, pointless characters, over the top dramatics.. and that ending was just..... not good. We’re left with more questions than what we started with! Poor execution on a plot that could’ve been amazing! This drama is way overrated and doesn’t deserve such praise. Ms Kim needs to find a new day job because she did not do a good job on this one at all. Absolutely mess this is.

I’ve only seen Goblin by her but seriously that’s all it took for me to confidently say and believe; this woman should quit her day job and find something else to do with her life. Goblin’s script and story had so much potential but ended up a complete mess of plot holes, loose ties, illogics. It was a shambles. An absolute mess. Please don’t write any more dramas Ms Kim.

Update: I continued. I’m up to Ep 10. It’s not bad but it’s not exactly good either. I have a lot of problems with it (especially with the pacing, the lack of development and chemistry with the two MC leads, the overdramatics, the editing, continuity, product placements etc.) but I am living for the Grim Reaper and his romantic relationship!!! Oh and his bromance with Dokkeabi is gold too!

I’m really struggling with this and I’ve only watched 3 eps.... epsiode 2 and 3 felt very plotless and sometimes the editing and story felt choppy like they’re quickly jumping around from person to person too much without giving a full mini story in each scene. I feel like I haven’t even gotten to A plot yet. Episode 2 and 3 felt like there was no story or plot development at all.... I really love the bromance but even the scenes with them feel underdeveloped AF and are too short, and besides that.... I don’t really see anything ‘wow’ from it yet.... also it’s creepy with it being a 900/35-40year old and 19 year old love story... can he not leave for like 10 or 20 years and properly fall for her when she’s of a decent age?

SHE DID NOT DESERVE THE LOVE AND ATTENTION SHIN HYUK GAVE HER!!! HE WAS AN ANGEL!!! He loved her and preferred her much without all the stupid makeup and hair done. MC Male only liked her once he figured out she was his childhood friend!! And before that he clearly only liked her BECAUSE she reminded him of his childhood love!!! And It was so obvious she loved ShinHyuk!!! Even a year later she was still thinking about him and she cried when he left!! She clearly loves Shin Hyuk but she still chose the stupid MC Male lead!!!!! Fk this. The two stooooopids deserve each other.

This is just not good... I think the writing is sloppy. Shige's acting isn't exactly good. The games are rushed, are very easy to figure out, and there isn't any tension. I think I've seen too many movies and tv shows like this that my standard is way above what this show is giving me...

The first 4 episodes were absolutely amazing and I loved Shige as Kaga-kun so much! He was absolutely adorable!! But the last two episodes were so infuriating! I am really pissed off that they just SKIPPED over the week that they had switched genders! I wanted to see that so badly!!

I feel like one of the few people who actually left a negative review above ^^^ .... just sigh... it's not good.

I got so freaking involved with all the characters in this! AND my heart was so broken at the end! This movie VERY quickly becomes a lot more about characters and their feelings than the actual sex which I think is amazing!

I thought the EXACT same thing as you! "oh okay, he'll just wait three months and go back to just before she's killed' BUT NOOOOOO. That annoyed me. Why couldn't he be selfish ONE LAST TIME and for the RIGHT reasons this time too?! Just go back in time after 3 months, call of the wedding, let everyone know how everyone feels and just run away and be happy with Saiko!

I freaking loved this show! I love it so much!
Until the last episode! That did NOT feel like an ending at all. So many things could happen after that! I fully believe they'll meet up again! I seriously REFUSE and DENY that ending! There better be an SP in the future where they make everything satisfactory -__- or else I'm just going to sit here super annoyed. That show was amazing until the last like ten minutes!!! -__-

Actually I watch a crap ton of anime. But the difference is with anime my brain accepts literally anything will and can happen. When it comes to doramas and stuff, I prefer them to be more realistic, that's all.

I'm putting this On Hold. After two episodes the dorama still can't decide if it wants to be serious or if it wants to be a comedy. There's too much flipflopping between 'omg guys we're murderers! our lives are ruined' and 'hey! lets go karaoke and have sex!' I just don't understand what this dorama wants to be nor what genre it's supposed to be. Also so many plot holes and such a lack of common sense is making me very angry while watching this. For example in ep one, someone gets really badly beaten up; he's at school the NEXT day with just a bandaid on his nose that's barely bruised! That boy should be in hospital for AT LEAST 3 or 4 days with the amount of punches and how much he got beaten up. I just.... that's lazy writing. So yes, on hold!

This is the first adaptation I've ever seen of it. I never watch Kdramas and I despise MatsuJun so being able to see a version with JunJun in it? I'm a happy bunny!

It's a shame one of the actors passed away so soon after Coffee Prince and couldn't be here for the 10th anniversary
