So glad this didn't go the direction traditional J-Dramas usually go. There was a lot more nuance and maturity around the topics which is satisfying.

I had zero expectations coming into this and it ended up being in my top 2 favs of Winter 2024 dramas.

I personally don't like Ishihara as an actress, but I'll watch for Kame.

Zero complaints. This was absolutely adorable and we have a couple that is mature and actually communicates! They're literally so perfect!

I assumed from the beginning we'd be getting a season 3 or at least a movie next so I am happy it ended with Fuma free!

If the two mcs actually had romantic energy and chemistry between them, it would make sense, but 10 episodes in and all we've been shown over and over again is Matsunaga being a PARENT towards a child who's extremely childish, self-centered and immature. This show has done NOTHING to show the audience he's even looked at her any other way than as a parent/guardian. There's zero chemistry and zero romance between them. You can't expect the audience be on-board with the MCs falling in love when he's been a DAD for 10 eps straight.

He's 30 by ep 9 so....

There is zero chemistry and zero romanctic energy between the two leads; it is very obvious he's taken the role of a dad looking after his teenage daughter (who is incredibly immature, childish and selfish, I don't understand why any 30 year old would be attracted to her). I don't know why they wanted this show to be a romance. You can't expect the audience be on-board with the MCs falling in love when he's been a DAD towards her and for her for 10 eps straight. Also it's boarderline illegal, p*dophilic and grooming because he's twice her age and she's 16/17. This show is not good.
Ryo, Asako, and Kentaro are the only good parts of this show. I hope all three of them get happy endings and people they deserve.
Sexy Zone members have got to stop doing romance dramas. Fuma's from last year was bad too.

This is pretty decent and the romance isn't over the top, cringe, nor in your face. The added mystery/crime plot line made this drama even better too!
