Ok but the trailer looks SO good so why is the rating bad….??

So should i watch this or not? I’ve read some of the comments and some say it gets bad at the end (I’m trying not to be too specific) or some characters are just super annoying. Someone spoil it for me and tell me if it’s a happy ending like for the main couple or just whatever.

The episodes are posted underneath each corresponding episode. For example,If you click on ep 1 and scroll past the video you’ll find the video to the side story.

I know that Sato Takeru is a great actor but the person who shines in this film is Tsuchiya Tao. She did an excellent job at portraying Mei and her disabilities!

Ok this is the best Japanese movie I’ve ever seen. Seriously this needs so much more credit like where have I been.

Also the type of dramas and movies I’ve seen probably have something to do with the fact that I prefer romances and ones with happy endings (some may find this annoying and I get it). I feel like the sad ones are probably more complex.

Yeah Ive only watched the dramas adapted from mangas because i was just looking at the recommendations after I watched a drama. And yes I would actually love to hear your recommendations for jdramas! Again, I realize I shouldn’t have compared the dramas and I was only looking at the reviews from MDL and also Viki as well. I didn’t really realize there were more complex jdramas and films to be watching so I had assumed that that’s just how jdramas were (which isn’t a bad thing) after seeing like 10 of them. I recently found a drama that seems pretty complex called Todome no Kiss so I’ll look into that one in the future. And again I’m sorry if I offended you.

Sorry I’m not denouncing jdramas atleast I didnt mean to so I apologize. I should say for me personally, kdramas seem a bit more complex. From the jdramas I’ve seen they seem to be more simplistic with similar stories. Don’t get me wrong I like the cliches that jdramas have. Also like I said I haven’t seen a bunch so I’m no expert but I’ve been watching enough to pick up the fact that many of the romance storylines have similar characters or stories. I watch way more kdramas and while there are some cliches or similar plots, they each have some very unique factor or a brand new plot. I’ve noticed that kdramas tend to get higher reviews too. So, if we’re looking it at it from that perspective this particular jdrama stood out to me and I was very pleased. Again this is all my opinion so hopefully I didn’t offend you. I still appreciate all types of dramas and each have their pros and cons. I do understand that these are different cultures so in that sense I probably shouldn’t have compared them.

Ok hear me out. ML was a bit weird in the beginning but mannnnnnnnn the character growth! Idk, the ending just gave me warm fuzzies and I can’t stop smiling. Both characters grew during this show and it was very well made. For a jdrama I really liked it. I really really appreciated the fact that the FL wasn’t that typical naive idiot and the actress knew how to act. She was a grown woman with realistic(not the “I want a boyfriend or first kiss”) dreams. Compared to kdramas it was on the average side but in the jdrama world this is probably one of the best I’ve seen. Yes, there are some cliches but what a romance without a few adorable cliches. Although I haven’t watched very many so I’m no expert. If you’re stuck on the ML’s weirdness in the beginning pleaseeee keep watching because it’ll be worth it. All-in-all I really liked this drama!

Also I just started the drama just now and now I completely understand what you meant like the plot is extremely similar to goblin lol but I think I kinda like it so far. Isn’t it about a nine tailed creature? What kdrama have you watched that has that story? Not hating just curious.
