This is my new favorite kdrama π handsdown. I like that I'm feeling all these emotions, crying learning, blushing from a historical kdrama on top of that. By far best feel good drama, and non its not because of romance its because of simple life lessons.
My only issue is that its a bit sad, the main leads lives are sad/unfortunate. Maybe the next episodes it will get better. It just needs maybe a funny/silly character, or some rich kids that abuse power, or even romance. Or even making the mystery a bit more intense. There's just something missing for now, to take my breath away.
Anyway, I like FL but her character is a bit weak, I don't like that she keeps overstepping the line. Kinda invading the ML's privacy eg following him and hiding.
Most dramas are not super realistic, I don't think that's really a bad thing.
All dramas are unrealistic, its all make belief. The problem with this drama, I wasn't buying what they were selling. The acting and cinematography was great, but the story line was weak.
And that's okay, not all shows are meant to be liked by everyone, I was just sharing my opinion.
I'm curious as to when did number 13 become a psychopath, was it because of the hope center or when his sister passed, or he was just born that way? I mean that kid started killing young.
I found the ending of episode 13 was a bit unrealistic for me. The whole jury tampering, Mr Baek's forest scene and the ending. I don't even find the culprit convincing, though the child actor did an amazing job.
I'm pretty sure she realises the grandmother is capable of anything. It was implied in her conversation with the…
I get that, I just have not seen any power moves from her side. The way she took time to take care of the evidence her son left in that house, until it was almost too late. Her not preparing at least one of her sons if something were to happen to the crown prince. A lotta things I wont get in to. I mean her being a Queen and her husband with so many wives and kids and living in the palace, her life and her kids are at risk.
What I'm trying to say is her character is strong and smart. I kinda expected some power moves instead she's a great mother, who's also lucky, with no clear plan yet. That is what makes me worried. But its still early, I know.
Anyways giving this a 10/10, chefs kiss

Who is the judge meeting up with at the end?
Kim Hye Soo's acting as the Queen is chefs kiss. π
What's up with the low rating? this deserves at least 9/10
